  1. For usage with FO4, I keep getting "no modules found in data folder" My Fallout 4 installation is here "E:\Fallout 4 GOTY\". I've tried setting -d "E:\Fallout 4 GOTY\Data" as an arguement in both Vortex and on a desktop shortcut for the program, same result. The log states the following (I've replaced the name of the user folder with asterisks): FO4LODGen 4.1.5k EXTREMELY EXPERIMENTAL Terrain LOD Beta (826AB10F) starting session 2024-11-13 22:55:12 The Source Code Form of this program is subject to the terms of the Mozilla Public License, v. 2.0 If a copy of the MPL was not distributed with this file, You can obtain one at https://mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/. Please disregard. I was just forgetting to include the colon (:) in the argument and was putting a space instead.
  2. Please disregard the entire comment above. I'm an idiot. Feel free to delete. (when I copied the data I wanted to use for PathData, I copied the contents of TexgenOutput's "textures" folder, rather than just using the entire textures folder)
  3. Tearing my hair out here with hybrid.bat again. Keeps giving me an error in the LODGEN_log stating that it cannot find textures: This is my hybrid.txt: These files are in my PathData path specified above: And the texture files specified in the trunk.txt file for that model are in the specified folder, relative to the PathData path AND in the game's installation (same goes for the above files). I've been reading the instructions over and over but I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I get the feeling it's gonna be something simple, yet again...
  4. EDIT: Actually, let me update to the latest version before asking any more questions, I missed the December 15th update...
  5. *sigh* Okay, maybe it's because it was late, but I thought for sure I read that they were supposed to be named "*XXXXXXXX_crown.nif". My mistake.
  6. Hello. I'm trying to create hybrid tree lods for a personal tree mod. I get as far as the part where you have to run the hybrid.bat file, but get errors, and the program just quickly closes. The LODGEN log reads as follows: Looking through the instructions, I can't see anything in regards to creating any "*crown.txt" files. I have trunk.txt files that were generated along with the trunk billboards when I ran Texgen. Was I supposed to place the crown.nif files that I created in the same directory as the trunk.nif files prior to running TexGen?... I had them placed in the separate, dedicated input folder for the hybrid tree creation...
  7. I believe this is a snow shader issue. I've never been able to actually fix it myself but the workaround for me is to disable the snow shader from the record affecting that nif in xEdit. In game it will look normal again, but it won't have the "snowed-on" effect that it was intended to have by whatever mod applies it to that placed object...
  8. I've been trying to fiddle around with the filter and search options but nothing seems to work. I'm trying to drill the records down to only the placed aspen trees in the Rift hold, meaning only a select few cells in the Tamriel worldspace. I know what I'm looking for, but going through each cell one by one seems like it would be a huge pain in the ass, especially considering the overwhelming amount of OTHER objects are placed in those cells by the Skyrim.esm. My goal is to create a patch that effects fall forest only. Meaning, I would rather not make game-wide changes to the aspen trees.
  9. Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this, but I was wondering if there was any workaround for the "scrunched" user interface when using the .exe on a 4k monitor. I can't seem to get it to work for me, and this presents problems like cut-off text, hard to see text, and drop-down menus where every option is covered by the scroll-bar. I know it's more of a Windows issue, but I wanted to ask here just in case anyone knew of an obvious solution to my problem. Windows 10 display settings don't seem to work, neither does running the program in compatibility mode or changing the DPI settings...
