  1. I tested Requiem yesterday and I'm amazed! It's a whole another feeling of playing the game. In Helgen Keep I kept fighting with Ralof to get through, shooting some arrows and dealing some damage, but not very much. I even got hit by an arrow, but somehow I lost only 1/3 of my HP. The spiders made me sh** bricks with their poison! Right after I got out of Helgen, I had to be really careful. Before me was a wolfpack with about 6 wolves! I had to sneak around them. Then, I walked into a bandit camp, which was warning me not to step anymore closer. So I turned around them and found a way to Riverwood. The world is much more dangerous and realistic now, thus you feel much more immersed. Imagine: You get out of Helgen as a weak prisoner. They had your hands cuffed. You grabbed some armor and a sword, but can't really handle it since you're not used to it. How should you be able to kill a wolfpack or a bandit camp right in the beginning, like you did in Vanilla easily? Makes much more sense I think. It gives the game a Gothic feeling (that's a cool old german RPG), where you're really weak in the beginning and even fear a lone wolf to attack. And with time, you train and become stronger and stronger. However, when someone is turned off by being oneshot from Arrows in Requiem, you're free to adjust the arrow damage in the menu I think. This is the time where I'll play through the game, I think, I just need to tweak the performance now. My highest lvl was 15 before.
  2. I ask myself if anyone has made further experience with this mod. The author seems to have done really great work; however, as it has been said there are tons of complaints about dozens of bugs and errors, which happen due to very diverse reason and the old Skyrim engine which is probably overload or can't handle the rebuilt that this mod tries to do. I would anyway start with a new game and if I'll just have to reload some saves and use commandbox fixes to get through the quest line it would be fine for me, as it seems to be worth it. But I would not risk this if there is the possibility of it breaking down my game. I would also go with STEP:Core, Requiem and some content mods like Frostfall and it's patches. So there would be even more conflict potential.. but who knows. Anyone haz experience with version 2? ^^
  3. @Smile44 I was just afraid they'll maybe be everywhere and make every bandit camp harder or something. But I'll give it a go. Thanks :)
  4. Anyone has played with the mod so far and can tell if he'd recommend it? As much as I read from the forum most people like it but some complain about balance issues with the Battle Mages and Rangers and that Smithing and Alchemy would be easy to exploit and lvl up easily with the new added melting and powders.
  5. Thanks for the patches. After having done an extended SkyRe Install with STEP:Core, I came to the conclusion that Requiem is more like what I want to play. I created a second profile on Mod Organizer copying the previous configurations from SkyRe, but don't know exactly how to proceed now. EDIT: I noticed that the patches from Spock are only for STEP:Extended, so I'll leave that, since I only have Core. New idea how to install and load: 1. STEP:Core 2. SIC, SkyTest, Immersive Armors etc.. 3. Requiem with all its patches 4. Compatibility patches for SIC, SkyTest etc. Does the survival pack come at last and the compatibility patches right beneath them? (Frostfall, RND) It is also a less extended install than the one with SkyRe, so it shouldn't take too long and will hopefully be more stable. Would Dual Sheath Redux and Automatic Variants with SkyProc work though?
  6. I deleted the asis.esp and created a new one.. after all, it seemed to work out but I decided to deinstall all the SkyProc Patches and just use the ReProccer and AutoVariants. ASIS seems to make the game unstable and load longer. Lootification the same? But the merged patch worked now.
  7. Thanks alot! Seems like I've overseen that one. :><: But my ASIS.esp is now missing this Masters .esp, which was the merged patch that I deleted. It won't run TES5 without it. What should I do?
  8. I'm using Mod Organizer
  9. Ok guys I tried to make a merged patch for Lootification, but it never finished and so I just closed it.. Now I want to delete the old merged patch and create a new one (since the old one is also bugged). BUT HOW DO I DELETE IT?? I have been searching in all folders to find this goddamn .esp, but it's nowhere. I looked in every Skyrim folder, in the TES5 Folder... I'm getting desperate (Windows search also doesn't find anything: Why?)
  10. I swear I tried and clicked everything to get it.. and now it suddenly worked? What the hell. Thanks for your input. It's ok now.
  11. Hello guys, My Mod Organizer has a Display Bug which is pretty uncomfortable. It looks like this: https://s1.directupload.net/file/d/3470/dembgjjw_jpg.htm As you can see the mod names are not visible.. which is a big problem for when using them! Anyone who knows what I can do? Greetings
