Create custom hybrid 3D trees for SFO:s trees?
Southman replied to Southman's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Should i just disable STEP SSE - DynDOLOD Output all together? And just use Vurts 3D Tree LODs? My understanding is that the STEP SSE - DynDOLOD Output folder "just" contains the tree lods, correct? -
Create custom hybrid 3D trees for SFO:s trees?
Southman replied to Southman's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Thanks!! Well i saw them, but there were so few files in his lods when compared to all the generated files when following the STEP guide. So i thought they were not the same thing. As i said, im new to this and my knowledge is close to zero. But i will try them. Thank you! -
Create custom hybrid 3D trees for SFO:s trees?
Southman posted a question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hi! I'm so in love with Vurts trees and think they are superior. But i was stunned by the amazing hybrid 3d tree lods from the Enhanced Vanilla Trees when following the STEP guide. So my question is if it's possible to create hybrid 3d tree lod for the SFO-trees? Vurt has released Billboards on his optional files. Can someone help me out? -
Thanks!

Hi! Just about completed the STEP guide 0.3.0b, and i got to say i'm so impressed by the work you have done setting up this guide. Amazing! Big thanks. I have one question: When completed i have some esp:s that are unticked in the plugin section. RBB - Oakwood patch, RBB USSEP Patch, and the landscape for grass mods esp:s and also the complete Alchemy & cooking overhaul_CCOOR_Patch.esp. Should they remain like that or should all esp be ticked?

Vertical lines on snow, any clue?

SOLVED! Rolled back to the latest WHQL 327.23-drivers. Works perfectly again. Damn Nvidia..... :hurr: Thanks for your support! -

Nope, no DDSopt used at all. I will try and do a rollback on the drivers, i bet it's nvidia playing with me. :) -

Good suggestion, i did that right now. Disabled everything, no change.. When i disabled UseEffect=true the lines of course disappeared. Haha.. Strange :D -

To 4, have thought about that too. Will do a quick test just in case.. Tested now with both 7 and 1. No difference... Hmm -

I'm using hardware Ambient occlusion, not using enb AO. I tried disabling nvidias AO but with no difference. How do i increase the size scale in nvidia inspector? -
I installed the lates nvidia beta drivers, and now i have started noticing vertical lines in the game. Seen it on mountains and especially on the snow. I'm not completely sure if it's been there before, but i started noticing this recently. I'm using better dynamic snow, i know you don't recommend it anymore. But still, what do you think it can be, i know Nvidia has a new ambient occlusion included in the new beta drivers. But i disabled that with no difference. Hmmm.. What do you guys think? I'm not really up for rolling back the drivers cause i need them for BF4. I'm just putting this out there, if anyone have had the same issues? Thanks! Edit: I don't see them if i disable ENB. But i guess they are still there, they're just more visible in the 'right' contrast/color i think.

Is there seriously no texture out there for this?
Southman replied to Southman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Thanks for the replies! Yeah, maybe it's unstretching it that does it :) I don't bother so much that i would extract all bethesda files for it. Just wondered if there already was a texture out there for it. If someone is able to find/fix it, please post it here! :D -

I don't know what it's called, so had a hard time searching for it. Talking about this: https://oi40.tinypic.com/kbd8hz.jpg (Taken in Whiterun) What's the vanilla res 64x64? Haha :) If anyone knows then i'd really appreciate it! -

DROPPED Improved Vanilla Mountains HD (by rgabriel15)
Southman replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I like them very much! Always prefered vanilla mountains. Anyway, you might want to consider have terrain bump for the mountains now that you have excluded AOF detailed mountains. Improved Vanilla mountains HD looks much better (imho) with terrain bump. Comparison: Without Terrain bump: https://oi44.tinypic.com/2v8lhqw.jpg With Terrain bump: https://oi43.tinypic.com/y1il1.jpg  (With only mountainslab02_n.dds installed in terrain bump, looks better that way) -

Don't people read anymore? :D In my first post i mentioned that i was using FPS-limiter.... -
FPS-limit, best setting for 75hz?
Southman replied to Southman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yeah, okay. Anyway i found a good solution for me. I disabled enb vsync and set ipresentinterval=0 and finally forced vsync in nvidia inspector + triple buffering on. Works great so far, less inputlag then with only ipresentinterval=1. I read nvidias vsync has a fps-cap like skyrims own vsync. So physics shouldn't be a problem now. :) -
FPS-limit, best setting for 75hz?
Southman replied to Southman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Okay, i will give skyrims 'own' vsync a go and with triple buffering set to 'on' in nvidia inspector. "V-sync is entirely the user's choice. Enabling can create smoother game-play, but can also create mouse lag. Disabling v-sync is generally recommended and can improve performance. The recommended setting here is "Use the 3D application setting". " You recommend to disable it in a way... This is confusing......... :D
