  1. Agreed... I have had a problem coming to most forums of late as apparently the nature of being largely anonymous makes some think they can say stuff they would never say to someone standing in front of them. The manners of some make me not want to take part at all for fear of punching my monitor.
  2. https://unofficialskyrimpatch.16bugs.com/projects/7078/bugs/214876 ?? The mods that can be removed is in italics. Possessive Corpses is one of them.
  3. Always willing to help... As I noted in the Nexus forum, Windows 7 32-bit....
  4. OK, not sure exactly what Steam Mover does, but as long as your relative Skyrim-Steam directory structure remain the same, this should be fine (Skyrim Mods/ should be beside Skyrim/ and that is all that matters). Steam Mover moves all your skyrim files (or any steam game) to a place of your choosing and uses symbolic links to fool steam. My files exist in C:\Games\Skyrim but if you go to C:\Program Files\ETC, you will still find them under the steam folder. It is a nice clean way for a user not familiar with SL to be able to use them to move their Steam files.. In this case, he moved them to his very fast SSD but Steam still thinks they are on the system drive.
  5. Per recommendation by the USKP forum, I've added the following rules to BUM/Boss for mods that are no longer needed because of the USKP. EDIT(z929669)=> Added a spoiler ;)
  6. No.. Mine did update though. I *thought* I had SU enabled (or depending on how you are looking at it), but I can't swear to it. I had to restore previous, made sure it was enabled, and haven't had much of a problem since. I did notice that I can't package and upload a mod to STEAM as it says I'm not connected to the cloud, but I presume that is a side effect of SU? It is possible. There is another value name in the registry that gets block for write called updatecrc which may have something to do with that. Though to be honest, I don't know for certain, or to what extent that crc is used for. I am still able to turn steam cloud syncing on and off though. I was missing TESV.exe, Update.bsa, Update.esm, and two of those Skryim bsa files (can't remember which ones I had to restore as WB changed the timestamp on them). SkyrimLauncher.exe and the Strings folder were untouched. When it patched for me, the only thing that I saw changed was TESV.exe, the launcher, and the creation kit exe. I did only look by date and did a previous restore. Game is working with only those items changed.
  7. Actually I've been using this for quite some time. Not only does it allow me to add these in without learning the language (or spending the time typing it) but it also will help me to format all the one's I have to report it straight to the Boss Forum so they can be added to Boss. Once it finds the rule in the masterlist, it asks if it can remove them from your userlist. Certainly not necessary but helpful none the less.

I did notice that I can't package and upload a mod to STEAM as it says I'm not connected to the cloud, but I presume that is a side effect of SU? We don't use that because we all have tried and Steam doesn't respect the setting. I HAD it set and still updated.. multiple times. It's why SU was created.
  9. Can I just get this one straight in my head ;) So... the post processor for RCRN is the equivalent of TC's iCCC for RL yes? Not sure if this helps but I recall reading a method for renaming one of D3D9.dll allowing 2 to work together - can't remember the details atm but it relied on using a [Proxy] entry in a script. I tried to get info on using this method to introduce injectSMAA with iCCC but never did get any replies :P Don't know if any of that helps or is just blather, ho hum :) It sounds like blather but it is interesting blather, nonetheless.
  10. You know.. I didn't have that DLL load either.... Makes me wonder what it does because it "feels" like it is working without it.
  11. And still working... like a champ. I use the /d for any directory... Are you saying that I should drop it? I use SL most often for Dropbox.
  12. In looking at the Wrye Bash forum on Beth, it looks like 1.5 has thrown them a curveball by changing the structure of update.esm. As I read it, they think it is the killcams.
  13. I wonder how WB is scanning. Being that it's Python may have something to do with it since it's probably POSIX compliant. EDIT: I messed up. Remove the "/D" option and you will be good to go. Alright... I tried it and WB seems to be ok with that. Using the idea for RCRN, which puts files into the Skyrim directory. Repackaged with the Root/etc leaving Data as normal. Off to the races again!! Thanks Stop...
  14. I knew how to do it in CMD, been doing it since Vista, but I figured if the GUI wouldn't do it...... So thanks for that.. Works BEAUTIFULLY.. I repackaged RCRN into subpackages and moved the files in that packaging a new directory called Root, re-packed, told WB it had additional directories and I was off to the races..! Back from the races :( Bad idea.. bad... I restarted WB just a while ago and when it did it's scan, it was doing recursive scans through root.... over.. and.. over.. again. I stopped it when I noticed it and it had a path like root/data/root/data/root/data/root/data/root/data.... Bad bad idea..

  16. I was unable to get this to work... something about recursive links..
  17. As a champion of symbolic links and a user of WB, I am ashamed that I never thought of this idea before... It's brilliant.
  18. I love Skyboost... I get the same results as Monty... I really don't enjoy playing right now without it but also don't feel like rolling it back. I've been modding instead.
