  1. First off - thank you! So finished modding and the "finish line". No errors with zMerge, and made it through easily. After merges, I deactivated the mods on the left (except when they had other parts that were not merged). 1) When I created a character, I had a problem with the eyes. The eyes were all black, as if the textures were missing - no matter what I chose. The only time I saw a difference, was when one eye was blind. *** I plan to redo the faces merged and leave out the eyes. *** 2) I also trying dynamic things, and it merged in miscellaneous fine (this worked before with merge plugins and was based on the Skyrim older guide). *** I plan to redo the misc merge and leave that one out as well. *** Will let you know if that fixes it. Open to ideas also. Thank you again!
  2. Lexy and Admins With the Zmerge update - I'm in love - it's really so much easier! Thank you for the guide. I'm going through the merges, (I've modded the setup 4-5 times now) Recommend some clarifying instruction in the merge page. Because I've built it, I now know where to look, but if I was brand new - I would be completely lost. For example - RS Children - 1 patch actually comes from RS Children main file, 8 from RS Children Patch Compendium, and 1 from Expanded Towns and Cities. Before all the clarifiying guidance was removed (such as creat a blank mod for the esps/patches), this was very easy to follow. Now it just says to select all of the plugins - which could be very hard for a newbie to figure out. This is true for many merges, such as OMEGA AIO - where 2 go into one merge, and several go into another merge - but the original should not be unchecked. Just a recommendation to assist new folks to the Lexy LOTD build. I've tried to Skyrim, and now love the SSE versions. But I have only been following you for about 6 months now. Thank you again. No way I could have figured this out on my own.
  3. Didn't work. -- I reinstalled them. However, didn't change the result. I'm curious if its the new Win10 cumulative update. The MSVCP110.dll is located in both windows system files, and available.
  4. I am getting a strange error with Relinker. I am using v40 and followed the guide. Reinstalled everything new, after the 7 Jan update. Went step-by-step, and found a few previous mistakes. However, before, I never had any problem with Relinker. Now, all of a sudden - I am. I get a pop up as soon as it starts extracting BSA's... "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP110.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."   5. For the Weapons & Armors Merge I am in line with the merge guide, except for "Lexy's LOTD Special Edition Consistency Patches" The merge lines up, (as before) with all the consistency patches. Until... I get to all the other consistency patches that were added (according to instruction "install everything"). So no directions on merging "Falskaar - Consistency Patch.esp" through about 15 others - all of them are not listed in the merge mod page. Did I do something wrong? Or do I merge them, even though they are not listed? Thank you!
  6. I'm getting ready to do a complete fresh install with the latest guide. However, while I've been playing, I've noticed some animation issues and was wondering if anyone else experience them, or if I may have done something wrong. Basically, when I would switch from a shield to a spell, using one of my hot buttons, my left hand will not raise, is not visible from the first person - and does not work. This happens intermittently with both weapons and magic, regardless if I am in a fight or not. The only fix would be to sheath my weapons ("R") and then redraw them. Is anyone else having this issue, or have I missed something?
  7. Can't figure out the control to actually bathe. I've activated Keep It Clean. I'm in a bathroom and purchased soap and undressed. Then, nothing... Does anyone know the hotkeys/controls to actually wash. I can't seem to find them on the mod page, or anywhere else. Thanks
  8. I followed the 02/01/19 update. Went to update MCM settings per Mod Configuration Menu Setup Expanded Towns Settings Fortification Wall Dawnstar - DisabledMorthal - DisabledFalkreath - ???Morthal - ???Smelters Toggle Smelters - Enabled Patches Immersive Citizen Toggle Compatibility - Enabled*** There is no patches menu any more *** MCM Menu Instructions do not match the updated Expanded Towns and Cities mod and need to be updated. 1) There are two additional walls - Falkreath and Morthal (I've disabled in mine, to keep in flavor of the original - not sure if this is correct) 2) There is no longer an Immersive Citizens Patch, so not sure if it's built into the mod, or what. (I actually assumed I did something wrong with the install, and followed the instructions exactly a second time with the same results.) Thank you again for this awesome build!

  10. Went to download the updated performance textures, per the updated guide. performance optimized textures for SSE - v4 - by mlbrad aka rogue The mod was hidden for quick updates. So now author is on V5: "performance textures v5 1024x1024" Sounds like there were a couple minor tweaks/fixes to v4.

  13. Thank you for the guide. I have been modding for about 5 years and finished the regular Skyrim version. So thought I would try to move on to this guide, as it is current and maintained. Thank you again! My question is about deleting dummy ESPs. Faster Mining Plus - Special Installation Instructions: Delete the following file(s) and/or folder(s): fastermining6-3.esp (dummy esp) I deleted the dummy esp. Esp is no longer listed in my load order. But now, under the Archives tab of MO2, Faster Mining BSA is not checked. When I hover over the fastermining6-3.bsa, I get the message: "Archives not checked here are not managed by MO and ignored in the load order." So far, I have removed 3 dummy esp's, Dragon Stalking, & Horns are Forever - all 3 have the same problem. When I reinstall the "dummy esp's", the archives are activated. So not sure if my MO2 is set up incorrectly, or what. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
  14. I just pushed through the guide 2-3 times to get everything right. Yes it's still up to date. Occasionally there is an older mod that it requires - which sometimes you cannot find on nexus - but it is usually available through external resources. I'm loving this SLRE. No more hack and slash - you have to actually plan when and where you will be, what you are doing, etc. Dragons are tougher. First dragon kicked my backside twice. I hope to kill it third time through! More realistic and believable. "That was the hairiest fight I've ever been in" actually fits now.

  18. I downloaded the polish version, to see if there's any impact. It appears to work. But of course, I won't know until I finish and run it. I suspect it will work, because underneath the Polish version, the titles and objects are still in English. At least I can proceed now - thank you for the assist on both issues.

  20. Yes - I tried both versions, replaced. I made some other mistakes my first time through, so I deleted and started with a fresh build. Both patches require the same master - higher level enemies. When I swapped them, I used "replace" when installing. I also deleted and tried both, with the same results.

Advanced Adversary Encounters Patches - 2.75 - by SirJesto MISCELLANEOUS - AAE Patches Merged **** Issue: I have an error in my plugins list - Missing Masters: "High Level Enemies.esp" However, "High Level Enemies - SIC.esp" & "High Level Enemies - SIC Falskaar.esp" are installed per Immersive Creatures instructions. I've tried both the posted version of the merged AAE mod and the dropbox version, and I'm getting the same results. It appears the mod is referencing the wrong master file. **** Questions: 1) What is the fix for this? 2) Do I change the name of the .esp to fix this? 3) Do I fix the incorrect reference in the merged patch? Nexus states: "Hidden file This mod has been set to hidden by its author" Author States: " I will be redesigning the entire mod from scratch." This is expected to be finished by mid November. ****** Questions: 1) Does anyone have the correct file available for download, so I can complete my LRLE build? (Reddit has a very old version posted which doesn't work) 2) When author does update his file, will the new patch work with the old, or will we have to wait until the whole build can be updated to reflect all these changes. It doesn't sound like author will maintain old files. (also on Reddit) Thank you very much - I've been modding a while now, and I'm really looking forward to this in depth experience.
  23. Thank you - right now, I've added ETaC newer versions (dawnstar, riverwood, & darkwater pass) and just removed those options from the older version - seems to be working ok so far.
  24. I am revisiting regs. I was wondering if there would be a version of regs that did not use the Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) . I would rather not use this mod and keep vanilla lighting. But I cannot install the regs patches without having it installed, as it one of the required masters. Thank you.
