  1. I know the SRLE - REGS compatibility conflict resolution section is long overdue for an update... But at least 80-90% of conflicts should nevertheless still be solved by following those directions, and the other part are likely so minor that you won't notice. With regards to CWO: The most important aspect is that mods do not conflict with CWO locations. These can be viewed in the CK. I believe that the latest ETaC has built-in compatiblity for it, but don't quote me on that. Basically you'll just have to try out CWO and see... It is a rather problematic mod in any larger setup, due to the way bethesda made the civil war interact with a thousand other things in the game. EVen CWO on its own is not bugfree, or even stable, and at certain points you may need to use the console (see OP @ CWO comment section) to advanced the civil war if a bug appears. DCO shouldn't have any issues, and is compatible with DD I believe. However I have been told (never used it myself) that it is very script intensive. Never used Indigo or any other follower mod (except Interesting NPCs). The main thing to look for here is whether it works with EFF.
  2. Only ELFX - exteriors.esp. This ^
  3. Yep I've used it with REGS/ETaC 13 and there are no issues with it.
  4. Skyrim Better Roads? It's the only one its kind that I actually like (as opposed to e.g. Skyrim Bridges etc.).
  5. Thank you JawZ for the informative reply I was wondering all the time why you had changed those vanilla IS and LTs when they seemingly weren't really used! Now I understand :) So far, if a mod uses its own IS/LTs, then I just changed it to one of yours and went into the game and simply entered the cell to have a look. I did this for instance for Moon and Star, which uses its own templates for e.g. the houses and the dungeon. But the dungeon's colors looked a bit off with ENB, and since it is a Dwemer styled dungeon, I used your DwemerInt template and voila... Now it looks good! Some brilliant work you did with the lighting there JawZ. Good to know that Falskaar does not need a patch then, I was getting some weird effects when I tried to apply JZTownInt to Falskaar, only to discover now that Falskaar doesn't need to be patched at all... I guess I should actually play that expansion for once... lol. Yeah at first I didn't do this, but as soon as I recognized this was your modus operandi, I went back and checked all the lighting boxes in the patches. I did it via tes5edit though, but the result is the same. Until now I didn't fully grasp why this had to be done, but now I do! Perhaps I could improve some of the interiors of these mods even further by selecting another JZ template, but the difference between using your templates and the mod's originals ones with ENB is already huge... Therefore I think I won't further tinker with the current patches for ELE. Besides, it seems to me I have used the correct, or almost correct, IS/LTs for each interior cell. By the way I saw in the ENB thread that you might consider uploading just ELE - Interior to Nexus. I personally think this is a really good idea, simply because we will most likely result in many more ENB authors incorporating them, thereby generally improving the quality of their presets - assuming they are adjusted accordingly. Should you decide to do so, feel free to also upload these patches as optionals (if you think they are good enough).
  6. Sounds about right. I go from about 36 FPS to 32 FPS between enabling and disabling SSAO with those settings.
  7. CJ, don't you want to add the exterior part of JK Whiterun to REGS?
  8. Hmm thanks for that. However I must say that I use the performance version of Vividian ENB with even lower settings of my own, and I haven't gotten any artifacts there. I lowered the sizescale and sorucetexturescale to 0.5. 9. The 980 comes for a 200 euro premium compared to the 970. Not worth the few percentage increase in performance at resolutions under 4k imho. Also read about the EVGA cooler issues. Apparently the coolers don't fit well on the VRMs so those parts get a bit too hot. Btw don't forget that there are no reference 970s, only aftermarket. There are reference 980s though, so hopefully the distributors will manage to still pump out some more performance for that card. Still, I'll be grabbing a 970 in november/december.
  10. Movin up in the world! Just install all the files as instructed by REGS. I.e. if REGS does not mention any files to be excluded then you can assume to install all that come with the package. As for EWDR, I cannot check right now but yes I believe there is both an ESM and an ESP and that they should both be used. ESM is used a resource file, as far as I understand it, though for more technical details on that you'd have to ask CJ2311.
  11. Btw I meant the problem was threefold, not twofold. I can count to 3, just so you know!
  12. Yes but at the moment ELFX exteriors has some conflicts with ETaC... It's mainly some floating light bulbs or double braziers etc. However it is rather annoying when playing the game. The problem is threefold: 1) Jenna said she was working on the ELFX - ETaC patch but I haven't seen it yet. 2) I can't fix the light source via tes5edit, only via CK (I think) of which I don't have enough knowledge. 3) If you are using Neo's premade SR Conflict Resolution.esp, it will have a master dependency on ELFX - Exteriors.esp So at the moment you are basically stuck with the floating light sources, until Jenna releases the patch. Alternatively, you can either do the SR CR guide manually or cut out the records in the premade patch that have master dependency on ELFX - Exteriors.esp. Now that REGS has been updated by CJ I'll work on updating the REGS-SRLE compatibility guide too.
  13. I promise I'll finish these but atm I'm a little busy irl and when I get back home I mostly CBA to open tes5edit :P
  14. @1080p I don't think you will notice a big difference between 3gb and 4gb, even with REGS and lots of other mods. If you are constantly hitting the 3gb limit, it is possible to have some extra stutter due to ENBoost offloading. So in that sense you may see an improvement. I dont think FPS-wise it will make a significanty difference though, only in overall smoothness. If you already have 780 SLI... I seriously would not upgrade now. Would be a waste of money if you ask me.
  15. Solitude combined version has just been released by JK and B2P. In all likelihood we will see a combined version of Markarth too. Damn these are like the best times for REGS! Never had so many high quality city mods to choose from.
  16. By the way @ everyone: we are just waiting for Jenna to come with the new patches for ETaC 13. When she launches them, we'll have a look and then we can update REGS with DoW/JK/Better Roads etc. Ever since the v13 launch she hasn't been around much though so we prob gonna have to wait it out a bit longer.
  17. Hey phazer, have you managed to get PaMa to work? It seems I (and neither Neo) can get the SkyProc patcher to finish when launched from MO...
  18. It takes about 20 seconds for my game to start. Using SRLE + REGS. MO+ all the mod files are installed on SSD, as well as SKyrim. It certainly shouldn't take several minutes... You could indeed try moving MO itself to SSD see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, it could help if you list your system specs here as well as your enblocal.ini. Also SRLE+REGS should be way less than 254 plugins. Note that some big mods add significant amount of load times, like 3DNPC etc.
  19. Yeah I really would not upgrade from 780ti or even form 780. However for everyone else the 970's performance per dollar ratio is by far the best of all the high end cards. As a bonus, with the low power consumption also comes low temps so hopefully the 970s will overclock very well. Their low power consumption also makes them ideal for SLI. Personally I would go for 970 instead of 980. Here a single 980 costs 570 euro while a 970 costs 330 euro... Can almost buy 2x 970 for that :P
  20. Appreciate you making a call for someone to continue the project, rather than just abandon it and disappear, as happens so often :)
  21. Damn, sad to see you go! I do hope somebody will pick this up. Must say though that I have not experienced any issues with BFT so far...
  22. To be fair, ever since its launch in december 2012, Inns and Taverns has seen an update on average every few months. It's great though because she has been very consistent for nearly 2 years, though with some breaks inbetween. Every time so came back (least what I witnessed during the last 8 months) she released some new stuff and fixed any of the old :) I couldn't ask her to remove some of her own inns in favor of someone else's inns though... That'd be inappropriate. If anything, imho we have to provide a replacer esp ourselves. Shouldn't be too hard just cutting out the cells that conflict with ETaC.
