  3. Nevermind, I fixed it. I don't actually know what I did, but some random poking in xEdit fixed it. Pardon. I'm trying to Reqtify the patch with the leveled items now included, let's see if this new version will remedy that mythical CTD on save too :) EDIT: Well guise... ...IT'S GONE. I Reqtified the full patch (just removed the few SU/Sofia/AeCrown entries as previously) and it didn't crash on save on the new game! So it would seem it's improvement each time. But I have somehow managed to produce a strangest "bug" by removing CL/updating CR, if I may say so :D Dragonflies and Torchbugs are now really rather fat. Like, 4x their previous size. I don't care, as long as it works it works, overfed dragonflies surely aren't gonna make me touch a single file, but I found that funny in how unrelated to anything it is.
  4. The bug stands (I went through the uninstall/cleaning with Reqtified everything but CR patch while waiting for response). I got a fun fact meanwhile: my save with ClaraLux (character level 33) was 35.9 MB large, one with CL removed is 29.0 MB. I didn't know it would be such a difference. Guess those scripts really piled up in my save, too many mods for it. Shame, the idea of the mod is really nice and I'm grateful for the creator's solid detailed uninstall tutorial. Seems like a fine fellow, wish I could be using his/her mod, but alas it didn't agree with my install :(
  5. New day, new issue. So I figured I'd let Claralux stay as long as the game worked fine, but when I went to Soljund's Sinkhole and saw 3 huge piles of its torches I said enough is enough (even without glow and all the lights were wonky at best and really annoying at worst, but those were the light sticks that broke the camel's back). So since CR patch/Dyndolod/RftIndifferent relied on CL, I went and got new patches Diana has uploaded today, made a save as per CL uninstall instructions and began to remake all the stuff that had to be remade after turning CLux off. Now the thing is, Reqtificator won't run for with the new CR patch. It gives me an error, somewhere, it would seem, around the armors part. Would you have a clue what it means?
  6. I'll copy it over to my patch, I don't touch CR so I know what's possibly my borkage and what isn't. Thanks. As for the IDs, I used the "help" command in console before and it didn't show those two (it does show the clubs). How come? And how do you find the IDs if they don't show? :o (your codes worked, huggies)
  7. So back to that Museum issue thing. I have found a few weapons that won't get displayed. So far just Iron/Steel. - Iron Club - Steel Club - Steel Scimitar - Steel Battlestaff I could add clubs via the console (the IW versions, not Requiem ones), but I only have Requiem Scimitar/Battlestaff in my game in console (both are present in Requiem for the Indifferent items list). How can I fix it? Also, Iron Scimitar cannot be smithed, while Steel Scimitar can, with just the basic perk. Idk which way it should go.
  8. I don't know about the light mods. Before this guide I wanted to go with ELFX, to revamp also interiors, but once I've learned a little more about how it's done I've decided to just ignore lighting whatsoever and wear a lantern on myself lol. The edits to cells are just SUCH a compatibility mess I don't wanna touch it or I feel I'll never get to play the game. I'd spend eternity trying to patch ECTV mods for that and do it wrong anyway cause I've no *real* idea what I'm doing :9 So I just make travel lanterns and put them where I go often and want there to be more light. Whatever xD It's a shame there isn't just some lite version of CLux without scripts or some such. Would solve the problems. As for the CTD bug, really, the best I could do is pinpoint it to those Litem entries in the Leveled Items list. NordPride, you can try to temporarily move those entries to a separate file, Reqtify the patch without them. See if it still crashes on save then. I looked them over last time and I don't see anything weird/fishy in them, my own patch that's a bundle of random edits to various things from my mod order Reqtifies just fine too. It's like there's an item or a few that Reqtificator just hates. Some script or idk. I don't know, seriously :D Doesn't make sense to me. I have this bug on two different installs, too. It's unlikely it's mod related, the .inis I got configured exactly like the guide orders, all crash fixes and stuff same thing. No clue.

Ah actually nevermind, I found the uninstall instructions, but with the 120 refresh period and no glow it's behaving better, no glowing orbs so far (though last time they appeared later, so who knows). I'll probably leave it be unless it starts to act up again, no need to risk borking the save as it is now. I do however seem to have a lot of floating lanterns. I stopped taking screenshots because I think it's something with my install maybe. They're all over the smaller villages like Darkwater Crossing or some such. Like 5 per village, too fishy. I can live with it and I can of course SShot them if everyone has them, but I kinda doubt that. Something got derped :P Would you mind telling me which categories of the CR patch are getting updated? Only if it's not a problem. I have it slightly modified and if possible I'd transfer the fixed new entries into my patch over redoing it from ground up, but if it's all all over the place then nevermind of course. Ah and also, will you be including a different lighting mod in the place of CL in the guide or just remove it?

  11. Hm, question about this Claralux removal - is it possible to safely remove it mid-playthrough or too risky and I should just bear with it to the end?
  12. And if you want to be hardcore use the one I'm using (Organic ENB) :D It's so damn beautiful colors and all, no FPS loss, but when it gets dark, man, it gets DARK with this setup. Like, you're gonna have to grope for that bed in the ASLAL cell dark cause you sure ain't seeing it. I don't really mind much though, I just use a lantern/torch when some interiors are too dark. But I see what JD means about how ENB might need adjustments. Darkness is okay, I just use lights, but the other way around with glaring lights it would be unplayable I think.
  13. I can't do it since my CR patch is slightly modified to suit my setup. My two questions from the previous still stand though.
  14. Looking things over in xEdit, I wonder two things: 1. If I manually move the missing CR patch entries in RftID will it be okay? 2. Why are there so many conflicts between RftID and CAR/IW/stuff like that? Are these entries not transferred and overwritten by blanks on purpose or should I move them too? I mean the ones that CR patch would overwrite with blanks as well, so I guess that's how it should be? But why then?
  15. Seeing how poor JD is tormented by this damn CTD on save error, I tried to delve a bit deeper into the entries of the Leveled Items. I have divided it into 4 categories, "White" (not appearing elsewhere), "Leveled Item" (starting with Litem), "Death" (starting with DeathItem), "Other" (well, the rest). Seems that the culprit sits somewhere in the Litem category. Which is it? I don't know, there's too many of them to check and it seems that every install has its own problems so idk :D Maybe it will help you see some entry different than others that could be potentially troublesome or whatnot. I don't know. If some strike you as odd/possibly troublesome let me know and I'll try to Reqtify it without that specific entry/entries.

I mentioned somewhere before that perhaps it would be nice to leave Unofficial Fix for Legacy separate from patch merge in the guide, today I stand by it, because now I had to update it and it's trickier when it's merged :p Anyway, I wanted to clean this up and now I'm a bit paranoid about the save game, because: - I got the new Fix, overwrote its folder - brought back patch .esps to rebuild the merge - rebuilt the merge without the Fix so I can update it easier next time - two of my last-added mod .esps got flung out of the load order when I copied the profile in MO, some list must've not saved itself right, I don't know. I had no idea where I had them placed so I placed them best I could remember. They're not big mods (one adds dolls to vendors and some houses and the other makes more plants plantable). Can it cause issues if they're in a different place in the load order? - had to re-run Reqtificator (the main menu won't appear if I don't re-reqtify after any such movements) - cleaned the scripts for Legacy according to their instructions - the cleaned save CTD on load, once, then seems to work normally, tried to close-game-load it two more times/save it, no issues, could've been coincidental, idk, like I said, paranoid about any changed to the install during playthrough :<

Alas, I had tried that before before I started turning off parts of the patch few days ago, hunted the backups back to My Docs Skyrim folder, and I got the same CTDs afterwards :( Glad it made it right for you though :) Also I came here with this bug with my first attempt at install too, I believe then I had only run Reqtificator once after going over the guide. I have moved some of the Leveled Items records from CR patch to my own patch that goes after it (so it includes some little changes from one treasure mod I have that adds some dragon eggs to dragon priests or whatever) and those got Reqtified no problem. I think it's some record or a few simply that break it. Not all of them. I'm too afraid to be checking it now since my install seems to be working well, I just reviewed that section and transferred what seemed to be most important/game changing into my own patch. Didn't have issues with CTDs so far. Might have some misadjusted silver maces or some such, but I think I'll deal somehow for now.
  18. Good thing about that mod is how customizable it is. Gave me "courage" to install it. If I won't like something I know I can just disable it. There are some hints on Requiem subreddit about which options to enable/disable for best experience. I added the mod and turned all the encounter chances pretty low and went with their recommended settings (basically Purist-No Spiders setting and then personalization). Just knowing that every now and then something new and strange will appear is enough for me. It kinda worried me that there might not be enough various creatures in Skyrim and I heard people complain how it's Falmer half the game. So now I can adjust it to be whatever whenever in case I fall into some Falmer slouch :) I also have an option to turn up difficulty up with a press of a button in game and do it in a way more fun than adjusting HP/DMG slider of vanilla game :p The in-guide dragon mod (diverse dragons? Or something) also has some difficulty settings available. Didn't look into them yet, but maybe it will suffice instead of Deadly Dragons. I have those as a backup, but not activated. I might turn them on later on if I decide it's too easy. But I'd first fiddle with Diverse Dragons (or whatever that mod's name is exactly). I have also installed SkyTEST, because even though Requiem contains a part of it, it still adds fun stuff to the game and makes it more diverse :) It seems to work well so far for me. I think patches would be possibly the easiest thing to update without a new save, right? As long as it's just an .esp file. Though if it was "coming soon" a year ago I won't get my hopes up for IC patch and just roll with the MCM as my go-to balancer.

It would seem that it does employ an immersive way of not breaking the law exactly as I felt/wanted it could be, just gotta erase this bounty and I should be good to go :) @Melkien I doubt it, I think I'm the only heretic around here slapping multiple other mods on top of this guide :) So far had no issues with anything I added though, so you can try that, but I fear you're on your own there. I added IC to my newest install too, but I haven't played nearly long enough to vouch for it other than it doesn't immediately do anything dumb.

Well I can pickpocket a guard, he'll slap me with 250 gold fine, but that's the thing, the bounty will be pretty big then and then I'd actually expect the divines to crap on me :D I just really thought 20 gold payoff would be okay, figured maybe it's up to 100 bounty or 100 gold in stolen items or something. I don't know. I know of the blessings ignore crime mod, I played with it in the past. It seemed a bit cheesy. I guess I'm just a little bitter that even the pettiest of crimes, like seriously, the pettiestest, count the same as murder would in the game. I don't intend to touch that one with a 10 foot pole, worry not :D That's for goody-two-shoes (with a shady past). I was trying to touch various shrines, they worked before the bounty, don't after so obviously it's that crime. Meh, I guess I'll have to seriously console it out, but I believe there should be a threshold there. Like, idk, 100 gold in highest bounty, 10 stolen items or so should still allow to use the shrines. That'd just be more immersive. Guess I'll just have to console it out .-. Not a fan, but it's gonna be the least intrusive if there's no way to actually pay off this bounty/if the shrines wouldn't work anyway.
  21. No I don't want that perk, I will have no puny deity punish me for taking shiny once I decide it's time to take the shiny. I just want to pay off my 20 gold bounty and use the shrines once. The problem is there is no dialogue with guards :( The bounty is too small for them or something. If the shrines become inactive for the entirety of the game for 20 gold bounty then that's a whole different issue I'd say. Not very immersive, is it? Be hated by gods forever for stealing a cabbage or two when you're starving or some such with no sensible way to repair it (the perk incurs big penalties and makes sense in the case of big crimes).
  22. Guys, I have a really silly issue. I swiped an onyx worth 10 gold and now gods hate me, but guards don't think I'm worthy of their time (neither did the vendor whom I swiped the onyx from in front of his face, forgot to activate that Blocksteal mod in MCM). Speak about standards and pettiness, eh? I think it would have to do with Crime Overhaul but their Nexus forums seem dead. So basically the problem is, I got 20 bounty in Whiterun, but no guard approaches me about it. I went and tried to steal some junk in front of a guard but he approached me and told me to be someone else's problem (too low bounty). The problem is this bounty makes it impossible for me to use any shrine and I think I need to grope them all for some museum Display so I'm playing a pilgrim before turning a near thiefy leaf. Am I doing something wrong? Anything I could do short of removing the bounty by console/purposefully getting a much higher one so that I can pay them off? It's weird, but this time my install seems more stable than the last even though it's definitely more... bastardized, let's say. I haven't crashed once and I've been to Whiterun/Dragonsreach. Hm.   24. Aye, but the fun part was, the ship wasn't there in the old setup :D It had never been there. It appeared after the new setup and disappeared just as quickly never to come back again whether I went further away or closer towards it. If that's a normal anomaly then aw, no ghosts or mysteries in my game :<
