  • Dual Sheath Redux
    • Updated installation instructions for v1.7 release.
    • It is no longer necessary to add the -NOBOSS argument. Please remember to run FNIS after updating.
Oct 16th
Nov 23rd
  • ENBoost
    • Updated instructions to delete iPresentInterval from Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini. It should remain set to its default, iPresentInterval=1.
      • Previously, STEP erroneously recommended to set iPresentInterval=0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini.
    • Updated instructions to set [MEMORY] parameters manually. Using AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true is unreliable for some users which causes more problems than ENBoost solves. Setting these parameters manually is the only solution.
Dec 4th
  • ENBoost
    • Updated instructions to ADD iPresentInterval=1 toSkyrim.ini under [Display] section and DELETE that line from SkyrimPrefs.ini.
Dec 11th
Dec 14th
  • Updated Dawnguard, Hearthfire, & Dragonborn notes to reflect updated TESEdit cleaning instructions with regard to official content (Update.esm and the DLC plugins). The instructions assumed that MO manages these 'mods', but new version of MO does not manage them, so they never get saved to MO:Overwrite. Instead, they overwrite the vanilla versions, as is the default behavior when TESEdit is launched outside of MO.
Jan 18th
Jan 22nd
  • Updated AMD driver Settings section of the guide to point to the AMD CCC Guide itself to reduce redundancy, since that guide is already very compact.
Jan 24th
  • Converted INI Tweaks chapters to transclude relevant entries within Skyrim INIs Guide.
Feb 14th
Mar 18th
Mar 20th
  • Skyrim Performance Monitor
    • Updated instructions as they indicated erroneously to launch SPM through MO, when it is actually SPM that should launch MO.
May 19th
  • SkyUI
    • Removed detailed instructions, since updates to Mod Organizer's external fomod installer have rendered them obsolete.
June 17th
  • LOOT
    • Updated with the fact that LOOT is auto-detected by Mod Organizer
    • Moved info about using LOOT with multiple games into the proper format.
    • Added link to the LOOT Meta Rule Instructions
    • Added notice about --single-process argument fix for users who may experience a blank window at startup.
June 19th
  • TES5Edit
    • Changed download link to Github location for the latest release.
    • Moved links to the manuals and instructions to the Links.
    • Added instruction to extract the archive to desired location.
  • ENBoost
    • Fixed download link.
    • Added notice on how to find Total Available Graphics Memory.

Standardized Mod Note Style

Other Changes

2014
  • (8/21) Updated the TES5Edit Cleaning Instructions to be relevant to all games.
  • (11/23) Updated both INI Tweaks to remove iPresentInterval from both INIs.
  • (11/23) Updated AMD and Nvidia driver settings to reflect proper vsync settings.
  • (12/14) Updated TESEdit cleaning instructions with regard to official content (Update.esm and the DLC plugins). The instructions assumed that MO manages these 'mods', but new version of MO does not manage them, so they never get saved to MO:Overwrite. Instead, they overwrite the vanilla versions, as is the default behavior when TESEdit is launched outside of MO.
2015
  • (2/15) Removed INI tweak for [Actor] section that is now packaged with USKP.
  • (5/27) Removed and/or fixed invalid and non-working INI tweaks.
