SRLE Extended

Recommended Posts

I didn't like AGO at all. Just my two cents. It didn't "feel" right. I'm using Nock to Tip for the Arrow Fletching, Longer Arrows, Deeper penetrating arrows. No problems with Ordinator if you load Ordinator after Nock2Tip.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65317/?

Edit: I also added Recurve Longbows to my game. I'm a bow-girl. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29950/? I did not install the perks.

Hi, installed Nock2Tip to give it a quick try. It's a great mod, I love that you can use specific crafting stations and crafting/fletching/tempering are no more based on the Blacksmith perks, as well as changes to the arrows model (reshaped and spinning). Sadly, Nock2Tip is slightly incompatible with Ordinator, no matter where you put it in your load order.

Ordinator's perk "Trick Arrows" let you upgrade many types of arrows at a forge or anvil, adding a bonus effect. The resulting arrows (see the Ordinator's Projectiles section in Tes5Edit) use models that are inconsistent with the ones used in N2T (and probably does not spins). Furthermore, N2T dramatically changes arrows speed (3600 Vanilla, 5400 WAFR, which modifies Gravity too) to 9000, but the new "enchanted" arrows of Ordinator retain vanilla's values. To aim in the correct way, you must tweak your Skyrim.ini, using values from Nock2Tip sticky post, but this values will produces poor aim behavior with Ordinator's "Trick Arrows". The same applies for Nightingale Arrows - CCO Compatibility Patch.

For these reasons, you also need to put Nock2Tip.esp after WAFR, but some records are only in Nock2Tip.esm, for example the TemperWeaponDraugrBow recipe, and will be overwritten by WAFR, so you need to manually create a compatibility patch.

Lastly, the only N2T and Longbows compatibility patch is for use with PERMA, so you can't have N2T's crafting/fletching/tempering goodies for Longbows added content without writing your own patch, which is easy but tedious.

That said... I don't like AGO too  .

Fading Pride is updated and includes all followers and npc overhauls from this guide.  It also includes more improvements, like Brows, feet, hands, etc...  UNPB is included with each package by default and BBP Cleavage Nevernude and TBBP 2.5g are included as optionals.  I tested most of them but some I haven't had a chance to yet, though they should be fine, but let me know if anyone notices any problems.

Hey bow-girl, any other cool bow mods youd recommend? My GF is a big archery player and im working on modding her game along side mine so need to find her some epic bows and armors and housing for archery, I already have elemental arrows and think ill be dropping AGO for Nock to tip as well.

1 other thing o you happen to know if Nock to tip works with crossbows?

Nock to Tip works with Crossbows:

"Crossbows can be improved in two ways, using High Speed strings, and High Tension strings

High Speed, decreases draw time, and cost damage...but allows you to put more bolts on target faster.

High Tension, increases draw times alot, and provides a large damage boost, for more of a "oneshot" feel (don't miss)

Both modifications are made at the Re-Stringer, and same checks as bows apply"

Faction crossbows has a compatibility patch, too. You can also fletch your own bolts, on the go.

The only house mod I use is Elysium Estate, so far. By far the best home I've ever used. No particular theme, though.

Don't need Elemental Arrows with Ordinator. There's a perk that gives you these. Nock to Tip also provides a few neat arrows. Trick Arrows, Black Arrows, although they are rare.

One thing I would like to see is stringing applied to the Recurve Bows. I'm going to have to read the compatibility guide to see how that can be accomplished. So far they are still tied to the grinding wheel for upgrading.

Thanks for the info. I have tried making compatibility patches before, and one way or another I screw it up, even though I get the idea. There is a guide for patches, I will take a look at that as well.

Yeah so far Elysium Estate is by far my favorite house too, was just hoping to find something else really good but it seems to be the best lol. Only complaint is its too easy to acquire cause I like to RP my char and getting a sweet free house is kinda......

Think ill just remove AGO and go without an archery mod for now seeing how there seems to be issues with both, and vanilla archery cant be that bad.....

this was the main reason I rejected it from the guide no effort to obtain and you can pretty much put up at level 1. If the mod author adds a quest then I will reconsider it at a later date

my all time fav house mod is Morskom Estate https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57141/? but it is too script heavy for SRLE Extended without sacificing core gameplay.

I was super interested in that house actually, well that and legacy of the dragonborn, I might give Morskom a try since I don't have quite the full SRLE, mostly skipped immersion mods, so hopfully it will work

Edit: Is there any mods in particular that clash with it more then others? I already skipped Frostfall, Deadly Dragons, Bathing and a couple others.

I can understand that. Depending on what start you choose, a story can be attached to it. This time I started out in the Thieves Guild. I'm sure you can imagine how I might have acquired the deed. ;) As far as homes go, as long as there isn't a bunch of free stuff in the house, I'm good. I got rid of so many houses, that were just filled with stuff, high-level stuff, even. Some may like that, but it just ruined it for me.

Since I'm a collector of things, by the time I get to Whiterun area, I'm full, and my horse is full, and I'm ready for a place to stash it all. :)
