Hi,

I have been testing the full installation with a few twists (I use NLA instead of Vividian for instance) for several days now and really enjoy it. However, I was wondering : is there a safe and - hopefully - not too tedious way to remove a master dependency from your CR as well as the associated records ? Although I like Enhanced Landscapes, I'm thinking of dropping it since the combination of this and SFO seems to hit my FPS a bit too hard in certain areas (no hardware issue on my side, I'm running on i7 4790K with an Oced 980) and I find Skyrim really bare without SFO now that I'm used to it. Simply removing the Master's name in your CR header before cleaning Master sort of works in that I can load your CR without EL, but it would probably be safer to manually delete each record from this mod... I find it difficult since you don't provide details on your CR like Neo does, which is very understandable considering how time-consuming such a task must be, but could you point out EL's records or tell me how to highlight them in TES5Edit ? The same goes with Mature Skin (NLA ENB doesn't really compliment it), although this should be way easier to remove from your CR - Neo's has only two records from MatureSkinComplexions.esp under the race section.

On a side note, you previously stated you ruled out Ultimate Combat because it was too script-heavy to fit in such a guide, but isn't Duel just as intensive ? Perhap's Vigor + Combat Evolved alone would provide a satisfying enough combat experience while more lightweight ?

Anyway, thanks again for your work. I may eventually play the damn game through after years of modding :)

i remove enhanced landscape record too from CR since i'm not using it aswell.

it's:

SRLE Extended Conflict Resolution.esp \ Worldspace \ 0000003C <Tamriel> \ Block -1, 0 \ Sub-Block -4, 2 \ 00009329 <DragonBridgeExterior02> \ Temporary \ 00066F34

just remove this then do clean masters and save

anyway when you need to remove something from CR easiest way is to create a dummy esp with wrye bash... then load them with tes5edit and check for errors with tes5edit for the CR esp and it will show you the missing records

There you go I have just learn something new didn't know you could do that (but then again i've never used Wyre bash for anything other then creating a Bash Patch)

paul666Root remove the record he says and you should be fine.

I promise i will look into creating A CR sub guide for you all.

Thank you, both of you ! I once knew of the method described by Paul but forgot it, unless I'm mistaken you don't even have to bother with Wrye Bash - one may simply copy a dummy esp only used for BSA extraction such as the one that comes with Unofficial High Resolution Patch and rename it. Looking forward to the subguide then, provided it doesn't slow down the development of the guide too much. I suppose the guide is not so far from completion though, considering the esp count and already heavy load on the system save for armor / quest mods (?). (I know you're testing DCO and CWO, but I would be surprised if they both made the cut for stability reasons)

the guide is petty much there now. DCO is now in the guide.

CWO is another matter Lexy's test character broke so she is unable to continue testing that mod at the moment.

The esp count on mine comes in at 225 (all in)

The subguide will come as and when I get time to do it.

You can do that yes but with wrye bash it automaticaly creates every dummy esp that is set as master to the CR and you dont have it in your load order... that's why i said it's easier. You dont need to check what name it has and rename manualy every esp you're missing. Anyway use any method you like.  ::):

Hey gang,

Looks like we're going to be doing more with Noble Skyrim HD.  I'm close to finishing a player home for which I made a bunch of new furniture based on Shutt3r's Noble furniture designs.  I was going to wait, but I spose it'd make sense to release the mod sooner.  I have several color and style choices, and rather than creating a whole bunch of download options, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me create a fomod?   I asked Shutt3r if he just wanted to add to his new mod, but he said to just publish on my own and credit him.  let me know.  Thx!

Edit:  Never mind, I learned how to make them.  Much less painful than I thought.  If anyone needs help with Fomods send me a message...not really difficult, just meticulous and time consuming work...as Darth says cry me a friggin river :)

Darth I swear that yesterday I was gonna ask you to do Conflict resolution guide (you and Lexy's version).  And now that you did this, i sincerely thank you for this.  Now that I copied both Neo's and you two's version.  I will understand the basics of creating a conflict resolution esp. :)

glad I could help but please do bear in mind that this Subguide is very much a WIP and I am sure when others look at it they will spot mistakes and things that don't need to be in the CR. (I have already found some things that don't need to really be there myself)

Me and Lexy are not experts in conflcit resolution (Lexy is 10x better at it then me) but she says Neo's sub guide is the best out there. do yourself a favour a follow his CR guide at least once if not twice.

i have tried my best to make it clear and I will be adding pretty colour later.

And Oh for a second monitor lol.
