SRLE Extended

On a separate note, for both SRLE and SRLE Extended, I do recommend (and I mean like i do 1000000 times recommend) this mod: Dynamic Follower Dialogue - DFD

 

It has so much content, very well thought, corrects a major vanilla bug (female suldry sound) and it is compatible with FCO, EFF and HF conditions.

It has its own MCM menu and you can choose which NPC to exclude from DFD etc etc.

The author is a very nice and helpful guy who is always willing to assist and address issues.

 

To be honest, after having played around with this mod for a while, I am seriously thinking of ditching FCO. All in all FCO is mostly for followers and DFD is rapidly growing up adding a lot of lines to idle follower dialogue. But the thing that really bugs me with FCO is that followers comments are not always suitable for a given occasion or the fact that they barely shut up no matter how low you adjust the frequency in the MCM.

 

DFD's dialogue conditions are really well thought of, covering most scenarios and are really well implemented. As I said, this is a perma in my mod list!  ::):

i belive Neo is already testing this out for SRLE Base I personally find the constant chatter from FCO annoying (and seriously think about removing it). I have reduced to 10% in my game a still my followers wont shut up. I am looking at you Benor. So i will be trying this out

 

I also see my wife has yet more work for me to do tonight.

That is great news if Neo is considering this mod. It deserves all the attention it can get!

I do have it installed and like it a lot. If I do add it... will likely strait replace FCO. I would expect it with what I've seen thus far.

Hi Ogham,

 

Have u run DynDOLOD after you installed Aurora Village?

There is a patch in Enhanced Landscapes DynDOLOD's inis that patches all these trees (actually removes them).

I know that for sure because..em..I have given this part of the patch to AceeQ to include it in his set of inis in the installer.

 

Regarding Immersive Patrols, well yeah, there might be some minor issues with enemies or rival factions spawining inside the city. Author proposes to use her town folk protected version.

not entirely immersive I agree but still this is a quick way of maintaining the village "alive".  ::D:

I did not re-run Dyndolod, although I had read the description on the page carefully I hadn't considered the patch would remove the trees.

Thought it would just add lod for the town itself.

 

PS. Concerning your input about the load order for Realistic Water Two on the SR-LE Revisited feedback page.

If the rest of my thoughts were correct (above is before etc. ^^) would you mind adding your two cents concerning the load order for Upgradable Breezehome.

Because as it stands I feel that if I am correct its current load order in SR-LE Extended is not correct.

I would rather not since carriages / ships are the only form of fast travel I use personally. Well, unless you count horseback as fast travel.

 

The main thing is, it's disabling a game function for a cosmetic upgrade. I will look into the other mod and see how it fares.

Has anyone seriously tested or tried Skyrim Wayshrines ?

I tried it for a bit but did not see the added value since the Wayshrines are very close to the towns (and thus carriages) so it seemed redundant and I am trying to stay close to Neo's Guide.

It does bring a bit of extra gameplay and storyline though before you can use them. Or if you wish to skip that part of using them you can opt for the light version which enables them right away.

Can i ask what makes you think the placement Breezehome fully upgradale is wrong? if it is wrong then I need to change it.

Sorry if this not useful info for you, just a suggestion in support of your guide. (I'm not using your conflict resolution so I cannot check)

But have you manually added a conflict resolution for Skyrim Immersive Creatures and Enemy AI overhaul ?

Otherwise you could maybe opt to re-install Immersive creatures and select the Rebirth Monster - SIC Patch.esp as well for further consistency.

I did, even had it in SRLE - EE for a while in the beginning for testing. But removed it eventually cause I really didn't like the visual style of the wayshrines and it is kinda redundant. Skyrim in the end is not that big of a world to travel, and in case you disable fast travel then BFT will take care of most of your needs.

In his compatibility list he specifically mentions Breezehome Upgradable to placed above his Esp. (so after)

Which if I understand the current discussion about the Navmehses might make some sense according to his line of reasoning...

Hope I am making sense enough here.

Been actually playing the game for a few hours today and I've come to the conclusion. that I miss SkyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators the animals are dump the just stand there and let you shoot them with arrow while a least with SkyTest to would either run and fight back.

 

yeah, I miss it too, I can't really play without it, anyway we can get it back?
