So, I'm having a problem with grass in Skyrim. Have a look!

I have everything set properly for SFO in my .ini files, according to Vurt's requirements. This only happened recently, when I had to reinstall due to a virus. I basically followed the texture install order from PureVision ENB (with some merges and removals from RealVision, since they're the same author, and use MOSTLY the same textures).

Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys :)

I did. I contacted Vurt (who was thankfully quick to reply to an issue that someone thought stemmed from his mod).

He told me that the issue doesn't lie with SFO, it's with Grass on Steroids. Apparently Grass on Steroids hasn't been updated since v2.x of SFO, and Verdant is now the suggested plugin to increase grass in Skyrim.

This can be marked as solved <3 Thanks for your replies oqhansoloqo :)

Looks like you have a messed up texture file in a mod that's overwriting grass textures.  I would disable all the mods in your list that you think would cover textures for vegetation (which shouldn't be an overwhelming amount), and then start the game up and check to see if that grass looks OK.  If it does, then it is a broken grass texture in one of those mods.  In that case, I would re-enable 1 mod at a time and each time going into the game to check the grass - do this process until you end up with the messed up grass.  Now you know which mod is corrupted.  On the other hand, if disabling all the mods that could mess with vegetation textures doesn't fix the problem - then someone else will have to chime in, because I don't know... :)

I've looked in the right pane of MO to see what mod is providing the grass textures, and it's SFO, not anything else. Conflict list under Information for SFO says the same, it's not a conflict loser for any mods on grass.

I received this same error with both 2.2 and 2.3b of SFO

Edit: Moved SFO to the bottom of my modlist. Same issue. Re-installed 2.2 at the bottom of my modlist. Same issue.

So this is clearly an issue with SFO

Holy Necropost, Batman...

Imma save one of the moderators a bit of trouble here, and tell you to start a new thread about your specific issues... this one is over two years dead. It's beyond ripe... leave it be.
