AMidianBorn Book of Silence Content Addon installation problems

I thought I have followed the Step 2.2.9 procedure for installing the AmidianBorn Content Addon.  Though I am not sure where I went wrong with it.  

 

I downloaded it through Mod Manager, manually installed it.  I unchecked the AmidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp just below the textures folder and above the directions text file.  I clicked the arrow next to Improved closefaced Helmets and moved the aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp from that folder into the <data>.  

 

I have been following the Step Extended and ignored the meta rule instructions as per the Step instructions.  I am now about to make my Brashed Patched.  I can not find the aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp file in WyreBrash within the Mods Tab or in Loot as an option to add a Meta Rule.  

 

Have I been reading the instructions wrong and how do I go about fixing this?

That'll be because the esp isn't clicked as active in your plugins list in the right hand pane of MO, most likely.

It was checked as I double checked after each retry.

 

Fortunately and unfortunately it seems that during the writing of this post and when I started to work on it tonight the .esp file appeared in LOOT and Wyre Bash.  I don't like when things fix themselves without me know what I did.
