Kuldebar Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) IPM - More Realistic Potions and Poisons Sizes by InsanePlumber I have been using this mod for a while now, it seems to have flown under the radar but I consider it a "de-larpifcation" of potion bottles. Have you ever really noticed them in game? They are freakin' HUGE. Unrealistically so. So, this mod changes that, and it does it while still keeping compatibility with your favorite texture replacer for bottles. No ESP! I used the More Realistic Potions and Poisons Sizes - Simple Installer which is a straight-forward resizing of all potion/poison bottles. Edited May 30, 2014 by Kuldebar 1
EssArrBee Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Well, that would work much better with the potion reweight plugin I make for myself.
Kuldebar Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 Wait, the weights aren't edited though with this mod, it just shrinks the meshes down to a more believable size. So, your plugin would still be necessary :p
phryxolydian Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Excellent find! I've always thought potion bottles look humongous in Skyrim. There'd be times when you'd carrying, I dunno.. 150 bottles? More? This also complements Bandoliers nicely.

Lauren Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Not compatible with Radiant and Unique Potions and Poisons though
InsanePlumber Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Next update will be a total overhaul. Why is the same size for all the potion?Because the player is not an elephant who needs 100 ~ 180 liters of fluid a day.The strength and length of action for a potion/poison should not depend on its capacity, but the composition and density of the ingredients used in its preparation. I do not want to write anything more because I want to keep the surprise until the next update.Patience will be rewarded uniqueness encountered potion and poison, which is missing in the orginal game. There will be patches for Skyrim Redone and Requiem (Unfortunately, lately I have less and less time for modding.Sooner or later I finish the work, so a little patience. And I want before the release of the new version to have everything checked in every possible way) 1
EssArrBee Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Hey man, welcome to the forums. If you want a mod author badge for our forums then send a PM to z929669 on the nexus forums for verification. I really think a decent overhaul of the bottoms is a welcome one. I made a little potion weight rebalance plugin for myself a while back and man is that work tedious. I made the bottles go from .15 to .8 I believe and it took me a while to mess with them. One thing you should be aware of is that there are some reversed meshes for a couple of the bottles. They were some of the skill fortification bottles, I'll post them if I remember what they are.
InsanePlumber Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) I just updated Insane Potions and Poisons Others. I hope you enjoy it. Insane Potions Poisons and Others is a modification that changing size of potions, poisons and other bottles in game by replacing the original meshes. On a more "insane" that is now all are transparent and you can see their content.Modification does not contain any *.esp *.esm files replaces only the *.nif, so is compatible with almost any modification which edits potions or poisons and replaces textures.(Wrye Bash and Nexus Mod Manager after uninstalling restores previously replaced files)Installer is compatible with Wrye Bash and Nexus Mod Manager.Comments, suggestions, pictures, any feedback etc... greatly appreciated.Change Log.- All meshes made from scratch in 3D Max 2012. (usually 2-3 times more poligons) - New larger than a bottle of collisions, now you can easily be laid the bottle. (It's still as good as I would like) - Textures for all bottles. Thank you all for kind words. Work In Progress Update 31-12-2014 I started doing a new version, which will contain esp.The advantage is that each of the bottles will be different and unique. (Click the image to enlarge) (I assume that in two weeks I'm done.)TRACK for updates. Comments, suggestions, pictures, any feedback etc... greatly appreciated Edited December 31, 2014 by InsanePlumber
