CJ2311 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 https://www.facebook.com/zuck/posts/10101319050523971 TL;DR: Facebook takes over the Oculus Rift for 2 billions. Lots of indie devs abandoned the ship (including Notch), hopefully more devs will follow. And gamers get -censored- over again, as per usual. Guess the lessons we can learn from this are: 1/- Don't trust kickstarter projects 2/- We should've stuck with the virtual boy, however shitty it was, at least it wasn't owned by a company who'd buy your very house if they could.
redirishlord Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Noooooo! As I Star Citizen backer I had high hopes for Oculus Rift as my virtual cockpit. [REDACTED] Facey-spacey stickin their [REDACTED] nose in where it isn't wanted or needed!
TechAngel85 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Well... looking forward to Linus's rant on the WAN Show on Friday!
