As part of my ever going quest to stop things from annoying me in Skyrim I have run into a new problem that requires a rather ambitious!

These last few days I have been fixing how ice looks in my game, and as such I have spent quite a bit of time sitting on icebergs, and floating pieces.

There I noticed what many before me have noticed.... its rather boring out at sea!

Something is missing! And jumping from one piece of ice to the next I realized what! Fantasy killer whales!

Every time I jump around I keep expecting some sort of big animal plunge out of the deeps, but always get disappointed when it does not happen.

Now I have spendt most of today learning how to model a whale and I do know how to make basic animations and skeletons etc. BUT!

Now the problem!

I only have access to Blender! And Blender does not like to convert stuff into nif´s files or animation files required by Skyrim (No I am not going back to the early versions which can do it... since I just cant work in that outdated UI etc.). Hence no matter what I make I cannot get it into the game since I do not have 3dsmax or Maya which do have handy fancy working plugins that can do this.

So just want to know if someone with good modeling experience and who are in possession of above programs would be interested in teaming up somehow?

No its for blender 2.49b ... which is what I meant with early versions!

I have tried every guide there is out there, and the only ones that are working are ones where you create in the latest versions, covert and load them in the old... convert to nif, and put them in.

As opposed to 3dsmax.. where you just press a button and it works! :)

Umm... it may not be obvious but can't you do all of this with Autodesk software i.e. Maya and MUD? If so Aiyen... I would think that the Business class (at least I'm assuming it was through a college or university) gave you an email address. If so then all of the Autodesk programs are free for you (for three years I think it was from the time you register with Autodesk using your college supplied email)

Too bad that its more then 4 years since I stopped at university then ;)

I already considered it! But thanks for the suggestion!

Have you tried using your university email? If you're able to receive emails through it then you should be good to go. It's 3 years from the day you receive and confirm their email I think.
