What does this mean? I found it in the release notes.

"OpenGL support for User Profiles and Catalyst Application Profiles

Users can now create, per application, 3D setting profiles for OpenGL applications.

OpenGL applications are now supported through Catalyst Application Profile updates (for single GPU and AMD CrossFire configurations)."

OpenGL is the free alternative to DirectX

Some games support OpenGL as well as DirectX for its graphics processing.

This just means that like you can create DX profiles you can now make OGL ones.

I've created custom profiles before for games like half life 2 though, which runs on OpenGL.

Did anyone figure out what they meant by OpenGL profiles? I've most definitely set profiles for OpenGL games before.

Current Catalyst profiles allow association of custom settings with the executable (including the one OpenGL setting), but I always thought that these profiles altered config "under the hood" ... things that are not directly configurable by the user (e.g., CrossfireX behavior).

I have yet to install 13.11 beta drivers over my current 13.8 beta drivers ... skipping 13.9 official release.
