Question

Hello. I don't know where to ask for help about this two problems.
1. In my playthrough i noticed that there are black textures in the border of the loaded terrain grid (loaded grid?).
2. It appeared that my occlusion is messed up, I don't know what went wrong.

What I've done:
1. Regenerate xLODGen mesh output.
2. Regenerate Occlusion.esp from DynDOLOD after regenerating xLODGen mesh output.

Standing on top of Frostfruit Inn Rorikstead:

TKExy7lK_o.jpgWith LOD on (tll): notice the black terrain on the right side above the roof

CrV88sMT_o.jpgWith LOD off

lll0ljjd_o.jpgWith LOD on: notice the black terrain and occlusion hole on the left of the midleft trees

Mk6PtH7w_o.jpgWith LOD off

y89km1TA_o.jpgWith LOD on: more black stuff and distance occlusion holes

WPcMs5If_o.jpgWith LOD off

co7ISGHx_o.jpgWith LOD on: view from above with tfc

HXjQXxXn_o.jpgWith LOD off

I don't know which logs are sufficient so I upload the whole logs folder and plugins and load order txt files:

Moved to the appropriate thread for the problem. See posts above. See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search

The screenshot matches what happens when terrain LOD meshes and textures are missing. This is probably related to seasons.

See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Rudimentary-Troubleshooting
DynDOLOD output typically does not affect terrain LOD like that.

See all answers for https://dyndolod.info/FAQ#Entire-LOD-missing, in particular:
If Seasons of Skyrim SKSE is used, make sure to generate LOD - including terrain LOD with xLODGen - for all enabled seasons or disable LOD switching for a season in ..\Seasons of Skyrim\SKSE\Plugins\po3_SeasonsOfSkyrim.ini.

See https://dyndolod.info/Help/Seasons and https://dyndolod.info/Help/xLODGen

It doesn't seem to missing object LOD level 32 files, since those were generated.

I found the cause to be "Worldspace Transition Tweaks" (WTT) . It was working fine before, but with new DynDoLoD, I get the issue. Without it and using 'SSE Terrain Tamriel Extend', to create SSELoDGen, there are no missing chunks of landscape or LoD

With WTT enabled:

Without WTT and with using 'SSE Terrain Tamriel Extend', to create SSELoDGen:

But then, with WTT I could see Azura's statue and much more detailed landscape . I made a post for AndrealphusVIII on WTT page. He just directed me here to find some help. I am clueless on what could be the issue with WTT and the new Dyndolod (or DLL NG or Resources)

You seem to have generated a new LOD patch for a new load order and posted a new screenshot about the issue but did not upload the new corresponding DynDOLOD log and debug log. See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs.

As suggested by https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Rudimentary-Troubleshooting do these two troubleshooting steps:

Uncheck DynDOLOD is active in the DynDOLOD SkyUI MCM - Main page to disable dynamic LOD.
Report what happens, any changes or not etc.

In case of issues in the game, test if the problem persists without any DynDOLOD output.
Report what happens, any changes or not etc.

If that changes anything, test what happens if you only disable Occlusion.esp.
Report what happens, any changes or not etc.

If that did not change anything, test what happens if you also disable DynDOLOD.esp.
Report what happens, any changes or not etc.

If that did not change anything, test what happens if you also disable DynDOLOD.esm.
Report what happens, any changes or not etc.

Thank you, I have the following updates to report:

1) With the minimum active LO:

2) With Only SSELoDGen Completed and enabled along with the above already active mods:

WithSSELoDGenEnabled.thumb.jpg.fd78ab24df868864c78669d62ab8faf3.jpg

3) With SSELoDGen, Texgen and Dyndolod enabled and all the ESM/ESPs active:

WithTexGenandDyndolod-AllEnabled.thumb.jpg.27a54928d1e7498b416c9417a959bd2a.jpg

4) Deactivating Dyndolod from the MCM settings:

DyndolodDeactivatedfromMCM.thumb.jpg.6841b1ea6326880a73c5fe121fcd76e2.jpg

Note: It did not make any difference after I deactivated Dyndolod in the MCM. I went inside Bulwark where the guards live in, waited sometime and came out and checked, I did not notice any difference

5) With Occlusion.esp disabled:

WithOcclusionESPDisabled.thumb.jpg.33a2e2031fbf3890b0620f391645fcf2.jpg This is how it used to be in my earlier runs, unless I am missing something

Further disabling Dyndolod.esp resulted in no MCM for Dyndolod. Other than that, I do not see any difference. Since I reached 4MB limit on posting pics, here are the other two pics taken with Occlusion and Dyndolod ESPs disabled and the last one with ESM disabled as well

It seems Worldspace Transition Tweaks - Skyrim To Solstheim.bsa is missing from the load order. Install it and make sure the game loads it. Once it does the, the data in Occlusion.esp will work as intended by the WWT mod as is.

Unlike every other type of asset, in the game loose *.lod files lose to the ones in BSA, however LOD and Occlussion is generated based on the "winning" loose file paradigm.

So this was all because I unzipped the freakin BSA?

Now to run it with the full load install

Thanks a lot for your help.

May I ask one more help please? The LoDs look good now, but seem to be disappearing further on as in the picture below:

Thank you

It's probably related to your [TerrainManager] values in SkyrimPrefs.ini, which can also be set from the DynDOLOD MCM.

Additionally, if you use BethINI Pie with the 'High' or 'Ultra' presets, your INI values will be configured optimally, including settings impacting LOD.

Do objects appear if you get closer?

I do not recall and can not currently check if WTT adds any there, too.

No, no difference. I have tried highest possible settings in Dyndolod, even tried with uLargeRefLODGridSize-21, no difference in that region. I guess this is how it is

Vanilla does not place any objects there and if you have no mods that add any, then it will just be bland terrain like that.
