(EDIT: I should have posted this under the Dyndolod section, sorry about that. You can move the thread in the appropriate section.)

Hello! I've been plagued by this issue for the first time in many years of modding. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but here's a few screenshots.

The terrain also looks very low res for some reason. Here are my XLodGen settings for every LODs

I run XLodGen before I run Dyndolod, the only thing I leave on in this section when generating the terrain LOD is XLodGen Ressources, Worldspace transition tweaks and Parallax Gen's output. Hopefully I've given enough info, I can be more specific. This is really distracting, I see these gaps everywhere.

You are posting about terrain LOD, so DynDOLOD doesn't apply.

Your xLODGen Quality settings are much too high (low quality). Hover your mouse cursor over a setting to get a brief explanation.

Try using settings similar to what we recommend (ignore our gamma setting unless you are using Cathedral Landscapes)

Oh wow my settings were all wrong. I'm generating new terrain LODS with your settings, hopefully that takes care of the issues. Thank you for the help, Azura's blessings upon 'ya!

Problem solved, I followed the guidelines and no more seams. Case closed! Thank you for the quick help.

EDIT: Unfortunately no, it's still happening. :(

EDIT 2: Fixed for good! I had to disable Worldspace Transition Tweaks before generating the terrain LODS. I also used the settings from that page instead.

That thread provides some interesting information, but it is dated.

The recommended xLODGen settings I linked previously are the result of all that testing and more information gleaned from a few years of further testing by our team and others. The texture sizes can be doubled for 4K game resolutions.

Also, WTT should be enabled during terrain LOD gen. It effectively replaces the terrain ESM that is recommended to be enabled when generating terrain LOD.

The screenshots seem to show full terrain in active cells. Rudimentary troubleshooting to check if LOD is involved in an issue is to toggle it off with tll in console.
The full terrain is defined on LAND records in plugins. This issue looks like two different plugins changing LAND records in adjacent cells. WTT typically does not affect terrain in Ivarstead.

Terrain LOD generation reads this data to generate terrain LOD meshes but does not change full terrain data in any way.

Actually the problem persisted today, and I have finally found the culprit. It wasn't XlodGen at all. It was northern roads. For anyone experiencing this issue, make sure that the mod is at the bottom of the list so it overwrites everything else. Then open LOOT, locate the .esp on the list, right click, edit metadata and in the first tab (group), click the drop list and select ''Worldspace Settings'' and apply. Thank you for the help!
