The only deviation from the guide I made was not installing "The Choice Is Yours". NPCS, mostly Nords, are ghostly pale. This is regardless of the current weather. Indoors they're mostly okay. Is there anything I can adjust to fix it?

NPCs' eyes seem to be crossed too.

If you are running the Step Skyrim SE 2.3 build, I suggest you revisit 08-Character Apperance ModGroup, and reinstall all those mods according to the instructions.

No luck, though disabling tempered skins helped with the paleness. The eye issue seems to be related to lighting. It's like one eye has no shadow and the other eye has too much.

Then there's something else in your build that deviates from the Step build other than TCIY, which has no impact on NPC appearance.
