Question

Hi everyone, I've been using DynDOLOD for years and have been using 3.0 for awhile with no issues,  I updated to the newest DynDOLOD 3.0 and the newest DynDOLOD SE Resources 3 today and after uninstalling both the old versions and installing the new, ran TEXGEN64x for SSE with no issues and installed that into my data folder, now when I run DynDOLOD64x SSE it keeps telling me

"required resource file not found meshes\lod\imperial\helgenstoneblock01_lod_0.nif, make sure to install the latest DynDOLOD standalone with matching DynDOLOD resource se archive."

But I've tried reinstalling both again and it keeps giving me that error. Any ideas? I'm not sure what to do at this point. Sorry if this is a common or simple fix.

Thank you so much for your help! I'm a little sick right now and my brain is not working at all. The problem with TexGen is solved, but now the problem with DynDOLOD.... The wrhousewind01_dyndolod_child.nif file is not created/missing. I reinstalled all mods: DynDOLOD 3 Alpha, DynDOLOD Resources SE 3 RU, DynDOLOD DLL NG, but no result.

Make sure to install the latest DynDOLOD Standalone with the latest matching DynDOLOD Resources SE archive.

Make sure the archives downloaded and installed completely.

I'm experiencing the same error that mom_san seems to have had, though I am using Linux and wouldn't be surprised if it is a result of that. This recurs each time.

All DynDOLOD files are up to date, I have never had old versions of these files (I set up my OS and NGVO after the last updates), and I tried reinstalling both by nxm_handler and manually. I have verified that the nif in question appears correctly in the MO2 virtual data folder. I tried shortening the file path on my OS (not the unchangeable virtual path displayed here, that is), and this got past this initial error but returned many missing meshes/textures after launching generation, and then reverted to the error displayed here after that one aborted run. I have since reverted the file path back to the original, under the assumption that it did not fix anything. No other possible errors pointed to by the troubleshooting guide seem to apply.

No log files showing getting passed the initial error were provided.

The message states a fact. The OS reported to the program that the file does not exist.

Z:\home\chrysopoeia\Games\Skyrim\Stock Game\Data\meshes\architecture\whiterun\wrbuildings\wrhousewind01_dyndolod_child.nif

Make sure that the file system is in case insensitive for all files and folders involved.

If you can find meshes\architecture\whiterun\wrbuildings\wrhousewind01_dyndolod_child.nif in MO2 right window data tab with the same case, then make sure MO2 also uses the the shown data path Z:\home\chrysopoeia\Games\Skyrim\Stock Game\Data\ and if not, either update MO2 settings or the ones for DynDOLOD so that they use the exact same data path. See https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Windows-Registry-Key.

I am having this problem. The instructions state that the child/parent setting can be changed at the drop-down box in the 'Advanced Panel', but the problem is that the error occurred before the process reached the 'Panel' part. I have not managed to do any 'advanced setting' changes as the process had not reached that part yet.

I am using the latest Dydolod AND the latest Resources. Any help?
