Question

Posted

First: Thank you Sheson et. al for DynDOLOD.

I have been using for a while (prior versions) without issue by RTFM advise & some great YouTube video tutorials.
With the DynDOLOD 3 I thought I would upload and give an attempt.
No issues with TexGen. DynDOLOD stops on the Heljarchen Farm Revamped mod.
I know you cannot know my load order or what conflicts may exist. I am hoping you can translate the message below so I can look into learning more about the inner workings of modding.

Thanks,
Dag

I was trying to solve it myself but I don't know what to do next. Searching for "might be the wrong version for" also yielded no results on this forum so I have nothing left but to ask.
I've opened it up in xedit and see the plugin has errors, how to solve them? I don't understand what to do at that point.

LegacyoftheDragonborn.esm might be the wrong version for JKs Castle Volkihar - LOTD patch.esp or vice versa.

Error in JKs Castle Volkihar - LOTD patch.esp [REFR:0A007255] (Places [0A02B9F2] <Error: Could not be resolved 1> NAME - Base in [CELL:00000D74] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C]) at -44,37)

EDIT: I went specifically to the location for the error per the log, as I was in the wrong spot. I'm not seeing what's wrong? Every mod has an identical entry listed in that area?

I found a forum dedicated to unresolved form IDs and someone with a similar problem to mine. I will try my best to solve my issue as I can.
If there's a glaringly obvious solution/answer though that has gone straight past me, I am open to hearing it.

LegacyoftheDragonborn.esm might be the wrong version for JKs Castle Volkihar - LOTD patch.esp or vice versa.

Research those mods, and install the correct versions of each for your game. Revisit the LotDB requirements.

Moved to the appropriate thread for the error message. See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which DynDOLOD log and debug log to upload when making posts.

Click the link Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Read-Log-and-Error-Messages to open https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Unresolved-Form-ID which contains explanation and suggestion for the reported error in the load order.

LegacyoftheDragonborn.esm might be the wrong version for JKs Castle Volkihar - LOTD patch.esp or vice versa.

In case the message mentions that a plugin might be the wrong version, double check it is the correct version ... for any other plugins using it as a master and vice versa. ... Update the required plugins and use matching versions.  ... For example, patch plugins might need updating in case any of the plugins they are patching changed.

The patch was probably made for an older version of LegacyoftheDragonborn.esm

Thank you for the responses, I greatly appreciate the help. I was kind of clued in that it just might be outdated, but I didn't see anyone having similar complaints to mine on the mods so I was not sure; Nexus' comment search is kind of lacking.

EDIT: Think I figured out my problem. I had downloaded the latest patches, but must have mistakenly not updated my existing JK's Guild HQ patches during my load order building. I happened to notice a very outdated "1.19.2" at the top of the fomod instead of "1.27"
As always, a mere user error, but I wouldn't have suspected such a sneaky thing without being prompted down the path of outdated patches. Thank you once again.
