Unresolved FormID

Dagnathur

Question

First: Thank you Sheson et. al for DynDOLOD.

I have been using for a while (prior versions) without issue by RTFM advise & some great YouTube video tutorials.
With the DynDOLOD 3 I thought I would upload and give an attempt.
No issues with TexGen. DynDOLOD stops on the Heljarchen Farm Revamped mod.
I know you cannot know my load order or what conflicts may exist. I am hoping you can translate the message below so I can look into learning more about the inner workings of modding.

Thanks,
Dag

DynDOLOD provides me with this error and I have no idea how to resolve this. I used the batch cleaner function for SSEEdit and it has proven to not fix the issue. Can anyone help me here? All I can determine is that this is a WTT issue

Error: Unresolved FormID [203B42D] for large reference in Dragonborn.esm for cell [10,7] in Large References for Dragonborn.esm DLC2SolstheimWorld "Solstheim" [WRLD:04000800]

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which DynDOLOD log and debug log to upload when making posts.

The message should have a link Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Read-Log-and-Error-Messages that opens https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Unresolved-Form-ID, which explains:
In case there is an unresolved form ID for a large reference, unset the Hide "never shown" checkbox in the xEdit Options, General tab to list the Large References entries on the worldspace record for further troubleshooting. If the unresolved form ID is in a different master plugin, then update either plugin to the correct version. Sometimes plugins simply contain a copy of the entire Large References list of a master plugin for no actual reason. Typically only the same plugin adding the reference needs to also set it as a large reference, though plugins overwriting the reference may list it again in their own Large References list. Use the Skyrim SE - Generate Large References.pas script shipping with in xEdit to generate the Large References data after removing it from a worldspace.

Provide an xEdit screenshot that verifies your assumption. The current version of WTT - Skyrim-Solstheim - Worldsettings.esp does not contain any large references, so it can not really have this error.

The message says the error is in Dragonborn.esm. The vanilla Dragonborn.esm contains a reference xx03B42D, so there is no reason for the large references list entry on the worldspace record to have an unresolved formID. Something must have happened to the plugin. I suggest to download the vanilla version of the plugin again to replace the broken version.

Cleaning plugins can not and does not fix unresolved form IDs / missing records.

Moved to the appropriate thread which can be found by searching the forum for the error message as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Use-Search

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which DynDOLOD log and debug log to upload when making posts.

The message you posted reports an error in the load order and its likely cause as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Read-Log-and-Error-Messages:

Unresolved FormID [0937C0DB]
LegacyoftheDragonborn.esm might be the wrong version for FDILOTDPatch.esp or vice versa.
Error in FDILOTDPatch.esp A_hatch_airbattle008 [REFR:0937C075] (places ShipTrapdoor01MinUse "Door" [DOOR:000A38D3] in GRUP Cell Persistent Children of [CELL:02001DBB] (in DLC1HunterHQWorld "Dayspring Canyon" [WRLD:02001DB8]) at 0,0)

The message you posted has a link Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message as explained in that opens https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Unresolved-Form-ID, which explains:
In case the message mentions that a plugin might be the wrong version, double check it is the correct version for the game version and for any other plugins using it as a master and vice versa. ...  For example, patch plugins might need updating in case any of the plugins they are patching changed.

Just like the error message and the additional explanations describe, the patch is most likely for an older version of Legacy of the Dragonborn and needs to be updated for the new version.

I'm having an issue I can't resolve.  I'm including the last generation of my log... the problem is with my Smashed Patch so I can't reference the mod page for any help.  I followed the link in the error message, followed the instructions as best I could and watched the video.  I cleaned the patch in xEdit and checked for errors.  While xEdit did find 5 of them, none were related to the error message generated by Dyndolod.  Here's the link to the log: https://paste.ee/p/eho0F

Start by checking the plugin and record with xEdit mentioned in the Error in ... message.

Look up the reference with form ID 000383C9 in xEdit and check its entry for the base record of the last plugins to the right. In vanilla the references uses 000383C7 as the base record. If there are such errors in an automatically generated patch, the patch probably needs to be created from scratch for the current load order.

If further help is required provide a screenshot of the reference in xEdit. https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#xEdit-Screenshots

https://dyndolod.info/Generation-Instructions#Prerequisites
Clean and error check the load order with xEdit.
Do this before running DynDOLOD.

Thank you for responding and apologies for posting incorrectly.  After some investigation, it seems that I'm unable to use Mator Smash for my game as it seems to have generated several similar errors.  I was able to isolate them after updating xEdit to the latest version but was unable to resolve them properly.

Thanks again.
