Wyrmstooth LOD's

Question

Hello,

 

Does anyone know if Wyrmstooth include pre generated LOD's or otherwise source LOD's for LOD generation?

 

I know installing EVT there seems to be overwrite of Wyrmstooth billboards, so I'd likely have to generate trees for wyrmstooth... Do I need to generate LOD's for wyrmstooth objects or terrain though or are they already there?

 

I know Bruma already has pre generated LOD terrain, objects and trees included.

As far as I'm aware, Wyrmstooth uses vanilla trees. This means any mod that alter the vanilla trees will also apply to Wyrmstooth. In this case, EVT alters the vanilla trees and will provide the files needed for the tree LOD generation.

 

As for objects, I'm sure it does have the basic LOD, but DynDOLOD will add a lot more (depending on your settings). Just include the Wyrmstooth worldspace when your using DynDOLOD and it should generate everything for you.

LOD only matches and works correctly for the load order it was generated for. Generate LOD if you use tree mods, mods that replace textures or mods that add/remove/move objects in a worldspace.

 

Generating object and tree LOD with DynDOLOD will always improve the existing object and tree LOD.

 

Wyrmstooth is listed in the DynDOLOD_Manual.html Compatibility section with a 2) foot note which means it contains new/updated LOD assets or defines full models as static object LOD. New/updated LOD assets or full models defined as static object LOD are used automatically.
