Grass pops up (Fallout New Vegas)

Hello,

 

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place. I have just started to mod Fallout New Vegas using the STEP guide with MO2. So far, I've got to the 'Fixes' section, having just installed New Vegas Anti-Crash and New Vegas Stutter Remover (but without doing the INI file edits for the latter).

 

Everything seemed fine up to this point, but now the grass suddenly pops up almost in front of you - which is quite annoying. Any idea what is wrong? Maybe it is something to do with the the tweaks made to the 'fallout.ini' and 'fallout.prefs.ini' files in the previous section (INI Tweaks)?

 

My specs are:
