MO 2.1.2 rolling back to 2.1.1

Evening,

 

Wondering how I can stop MO from rolling back its update from 2.1.2 to 2.1.1.  It seems like every time I shut down and log off steam Mod organizer ends up "losing" its update.  Has anyone experienced this??  This is being used for SkyrimSE.

This usually happens if you have installed the 2.1.2 version into the default location and then are calling MO2 from the shortcut that is the previous version. You need to install 2.1.2 over the previous version to have just the one installation.
