CosmicDan Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) Not one of the modders, but I didn't have this error, so I would assume you opted not to install one of the masters/mods that KYE - Conflict Resolution.esp is reliant upon? I didn't get these errors when merging. You have 2 options, one is to check if you have all the masters. If you do, reinstall the .esp and check if the errors are still present. If they are, wait for Lexy.If you didn't install all the masters, and don't want to, load up the .esp in Wrye Bash > right-click > File > Create dummy masters. Load up the .esp in SSEdit, search for the records that are referenced "e.g. "Glass Armor [ARMO:00013939]" in the FormID box to the top-left, check for which row the error is in, and either remove the record, or copy-paste a line from another .esp into that row. Repeat for all records producing errors. Then save and exit SSEdit, restart SSEdit with the .esp > right-click > Clean masters. Close and save. Remove the dummy plugins Wrye Bash created in your overwrite folder, and then proceed with the merge. Thanks, though I don't have any missing masters or dependencies at all. @cosmicDan Looks like you are missing the KYE Immersive Armours patch from your KYE Patches Merged. You mean "kye_armors_ia_patch.esp"? It was included, according to the merge folder under KYE Patches Merged. Maybe there was a step or something I missed somewhere, I'll dig around. Thanks. EDIT: Aha I found the problem. On the Merges page, the "know_your_enemy_armors.esp" is above the bullet list (not logically together with the other files) so I indeed didn't include it in the Merge haha. Thank you! adrianoz Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Hi, I saw that OMEGA was accepted to be added to guide, but he posted an update yesterday so I'm curious because in his article he writes that OMEGA is now WIP, he's removing lots of patches etcetera. Can I just keep using pre-2018-09-09 version of OMEGA and its patches with Lexy? Or which version do you recommend?

DarkladyLexy Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 Hey guys have updated the guide. This update only downgrades texture sizes so make your own mind up by checking the changelog.
Shadriss Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) I suppose that makes sense. It's just that xLOD makes my snow LODs and ugly grey color, instead of the white snow should be. I've got a few screenshots on my Flickr here (https://flic.kr/s/aHsmscKBG6).LOD won't change the textures - only the terrain LOD. The textures applied are entirely dependent on the installed textures. @ Lexy - speaking of textures, why the downgrade in size? Are we having reports of VRAM usage limits being approached? DarkladyLexy Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 @ Lexy - speaking of textures, why the downgrade in size? Are we having reports of VRAM usage limits being approached?Well, my VRAM was hitting close to 6GB at times (But I do use the high preset of DynDOLOD as well) so I thought I would ease up; 4K textures for most things is a bit overkill really. This guide a Darth's has always had high VRAM Usage anyway.
Shadriss Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Fair enough... I haven't been monitoring my VRAM, but I've been getting random CTDs, and now I wonder if that might not be part of it as well... as I am also running High DynDOLOD. I'm holding off on doing the (now) four updates that have come out recently because I'm finally deep into this playthrough... but I have to say there have been some times I've been sorely tempted. On a slightly related subject - I know most of the mod discussions are taking place on discord... and at the moment, that's not a way I can participate in the discussions. I've been leaving questions on the Trello cards about some of the mods, but I'm thinking that they either aren't being seen or possibly ignored. I want to be involved as much as I can, and these forums have allowed me to be, but given some of my other limitations, should I be posting my Trello questions here to get answers?

I kind of feel we have 2 separate communities those that use Discord and those that don't.
DarkladyLexy Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 Oh Luxor why do you do this to me https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19860
AthlonAI Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Oh Luxor why do you do this to me https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19860Just downloading it now and I updated my textures to 2k following the today update!... So I assume I can add Castle Volkinar and High Hroghtar following the placement rule in the Trello... I assume too I can just add them and there is no dyndolod to be done right ? Thank you Lexys
AthlonAI Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Hi Lexys! My Edit button is disable I don't have permission... If Luxor Cstle volkinar from Luxor is accepted do it will replace Northfire's Castle Volkihar 2-4K. Thanks
Shadriss Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) Oh Luxor why do you do this to me https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19860'Cause he loves us. Hi Lexys! My Edit button is disable I don't have permission... If Luxor Cstle volkinar from Luxor is accepted do it will replace Northfire's Castle Volkihar 2-4K. ThanksI asked this a few pages back, and I would assume so given Lexy's love of all things Luxor. My additional guess is that the same now applies to Zul do Dov High Hrothgar replacement as well... though I'm not home to check if that one is a straight texture replacer or not (though it is, IIRC). That said, that question was left unanswered. I kind of feel we have 2 separate communities those that use Discord and those that don't. I think that's exactly what's happened - I can understand it, but it is creating a small issue for those (like me) who can't get on Discord. As an example, leaving aside the Trello comments, there have been several questions asked in recent weeks about glitches, bugs, and the like that have needed Dev Team or Lexy answers or guidance. I'm not talking about things like the last page or two, trying to work out DynDOLOD usage... there are several fairly knowledgeable people here who are covering those, I think... but more questions about texture mismatches (I'll edit in a link to one of my posts on this) and incompatibilities that are being lost because of the "separate communities". Please don't get me wrong - this is still a fantastic level of guidance and support that's being given, and I fully realize the efforts of the Dev Team and yourself in it's maintenance. I even understand the use of Discord... real time chat and voice is always better in these kind of discussions. I just do not want those who wander it with harder issues, or those who discover potential problems, to have those lost in the ether of the interwebz because of a lack of attention. I may be working under a slight error in assumption, so I'll ask it right out - I know you are in the UK (and so about 7 or 8 hours ahead of me in the Mountain Time Zone of the US). So right now, as I type this, I am at work/school. For you, this would be early to mid afternoon, and the time you are most online, so far as I can tell. Is this also the most active time on Discord? If it is, that would be why I can't participate that way - I'm not exactly going to be able to install and use Discord at the worksite. EDIT: Example quotes of my own... Possible mod conflict in game - I suspect Convenient Horses and Shields of the Holds. Images here and here. Looks like a bad texture alignment of some kind. Not sure if there's a direct conflict somehow, or if this is just Shields... any ideas? EDIT: Have seen it for shields for Riften and the horse armor for Whiterun... Solitude shields appear to be fine, and haven't checked all the others yet.WRT the ELE_SSE file - are the ELE image space and templates supposed to be empty records? I looked at both the ELE Merged and the original ELE_SSE file I have, and those records, when looked at, are completely blank... The latter one ended up being a non-issue, but would have been helpful to have a reply to continue the troubleshooting I was going through at the time. The first is still an issue for me, and seems limited to Riften and Whiterun at the moment. Riften I am assuming because of a loading screen where the Riften emblem is significantly off the shield, and the remainder is pure black. Again, I am looking more at making sure everyone gets the help they seek than I am my specific issues - I'm just more familiar with them than I am other peoples missed problems (after all, if I'd noticed them, I'd have tried to help, and they wouldn't be not noticed. ) Edited September 10, 2018 by Shadriss

Discord pretty much looks after itself anyway. For those who don't know I actually work a swing shift so my work time is 4 pm to 12 AM GMT so I am most active on both discord and forum and do guide maintenance either in the morning at early afternoon usually after I get back from the gym (although while at work I do stick my head in when my machines are running and there is downtime in my lab).
Shadriss Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Looking at HHHD, I find it interesting that there are only exterior shots - can anyone confirm that this affects the interior as well? If it doesn't, then Zul du Dov can be left in, as it does handle the interior, and allow HHHD to overwrite the exterior. @Lexy - thanks. I don't like to rant (I hope you know that by now), but I also have this military need to make sure communications are clear.
