Wyre Bash with MO2 (Not placing patch in Overwrite folder)

Question

Posted (edited)

I've used this same setup for a long time, I am just playing Skyrim again and for some reason my Bashed Patch keeps going into the Skyrim data folder, not the overwrite MO folder.

Any idea?

Google has come up empty.

It creates a documents folder in Overwrite with a bashed patch txt file..but it puts the ESP in my data folder.

Not an issue, it's just something that affects some users and not others. If this is original Skyrim I suggest sticking with MO 1.3.11 until MO2 matures a bit more, which is apparently happening quite quickly.

If you remove the bashed patch from the "Data" folder and place it in a mod inside MO2's structure, you should be able to edit that one in the future and then save it into profile specific mods after each edit.

I use this method when bash patching original Skyrim.
