Aiyen
Okay found a ... tiny bug that I would like to know if someone else can reproduce. Using the SKSE Alt F4 mod and an ENB with GUI has the follow bug. When trying to change values in the ingame GUI every entry gets doubled hence if I press 1 I get 11 etc. It is a minor bug I know but annoying when setting up ENB´s. Link to comment
walkman80
I think I figured out what I did to make Proc Patchers not work. I moved my MO to C:\ but left the mod directory in D:\Skyrim Mods. All the mods load fine but I don't think the Proc Patcher works that way. If I install them manually, I can see them in Data tab in MO and run it that way. Previously I had none of the AV packages in overwrite, now they are there. Guess I'll move MO back to D: drive. Link to comment
Smile44
First night of beta testing for Dual Sheath Redux went well, found a few bugs and fixed them all. Very productive. Hoping I can get a hold of a few more testers. Keep in mind you MUST be using 1.9.32.0 to be a tester, as the ESP was built with the latest CK. To existing testers: I just uploaded a copy with the new fixed scripts, it also contains all the Dragonborn meshes. Same bat file, Same bat location. (Batman pun, NOT a bat file... just in case) :DI've tried to pm you about testing but my sent box keeps saying message not sent. I will try again later. The gist is about testing and me being able to etc.. :) Link to comment

dstansberry
Dstanbarry: The guide is more of a guideline for advanced modders (In its current state) who kinda know the basics at least. It is not said anywhere that you should test run the game after each section, but it is still a good idea to make sure you do not have any game crashing errors. And the ini changes themselves are not strictly required until at the very end anyways. The .ini´s that are generated at the start of the guide can be used with no problem. Thank you for your response! It's certainly possible that I am in over my pay grade. I'm definitely no expert, but I do actually know the basics. I'm fairly comfortable with the Construction Kit, Wrye Bash, TES5Edit and BOSS (though Mod Organizer and BUM are both new to me). I've played with Gekko and LODGen and OMOD and managed to survive the whole FCOM Convergence for Oblivion. I'm sorry if I've given you the impression that it were otherwise. In as non-confrontational a manner as possible, I was attempting to point out that there is an apparent error in the guide that indicates .ini tweaks will be found in a location where they clearly are not found. I took this to be indicative of either of two scenarios: A) The guide inadvertently omitted some additional .ini tweaking information, or B) the indication that the "next steps" contained .ini tweaks was erroneous. Either way, I thought the author would like to know. (Sorry - it's a bad habit. I used to be a web development QA guy. I sometimes butt in where I'm not wanted, but I try to do it tactfully). Anyway, I do realize that section 5.1 contains .ini tweaks - and if it had contained all or even most of the tweaks found in STEP (which it clearly isn't required to do), I'd have ruled out scenario A altogether and just reported the erroneous text. Personally, I use a mix of some of STEP's ini tweaks and some of these - and a few I've curried from other sources as well (like FOV settings - they're simple enough - I wonder why they are so seldom included?). The same goes for the mods themselves - I skip a few that don't interest me, swap a few with ones I like better, and add a few new ones as well. It's arguably more fun than the game itself! :o) Link to comment

Aiyen
Dstansberry: Also sorry If I sound a bit rude.. most of the time when I write in the forum I am either close to bed and tired or early morning and not thinking... bad habbit of mine! :D But I find it is better to treat people like they do not know the basics then the other way around on forums... perhaps a very bad habbit! But rest assured i do not mean to be rude! That said this particular problem was also one I had when I first did the SR... I kinda made the ini´s first since that made the most sense because all ini tweaks are part of the vanilla game and hence cant hurt to get out of the way. I also created the bashed patch early on even though it only says it at the end. Also if you test run every step of the way you kinda have to use boss along the way. In the final version of the guide... sometime when the next TES game is released.. I think most of this basic stuff will be out of the way! Link to comment
Neovalen
I will modify the language of that statement to more clearly state the intent. The reason INI changes are relegated to the bottom is because some of them may change based on mod load and did not see a benefit in putting them before mods. Link to comment

I'm often enough wrong that it's easiest for me to just assume that I am, so I tend to be less direct than I really should. *LOL* Besides, your approach works best! Anyway, all is well. statmonster
I added the STEP 2.2.3 camera tweaks to the skyrim.ini to address my complaint about 3rd person camera. It worked pretty well for a new character build. See https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.3#1.F.1._Skyrim_INI if you are interested. Link to comment

statmonster
For some reason I simply cannot get the Feminine Running & Dash (Momo dash) animations to work. FNIS simply ignores them.Do you mean the ones in with the UNP-BBP v2-4 (Nexus 14899)? Or the original mod? If you are using both it may be conflicting because you have two of them installed. Perhaps. Smile44
At the moment RLO plus Cot plus a very light touch ENB (still looking for that though dyavision might be a viable alternative). Personally I like colours to be as real life as possible - I know video game is never going to be real life but a happy medium can be achieved by using not too washed out colours nor overly bright in your face colours either. Skyrealism vibrant works well but I want to experiment with other variations. It would be cool to find out what other players may have discovered as far as pre-sets go. :) Link to comment
