Nyven
Hey Neo when using Tes5Edit 3.0.28 Experimental to clean the base ESM's it moves the orginals into the backup folder and puts the cleaned copies in the overwrite folder. The instructions at the end of the cleaning section are Navigate to /overwrite/TES5Edit Backups and move all of the backup files to /Data. Select all the ESM files in the /Data folder except Skyrim.esm and move them to the /overwrite directory. Rename the .backup* files to their original name such as Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm and so on. but it looks like it should now just be the 1st and last lines... Navigate to /overwrite/TES5Edit Backups and move all of the backup files to /Data. Rename the .backup* files to their original name such as Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm and so on. assuming I don't have something messed up with TES5Edit setting wise, and yes the check box next to the esm was checked along with the "Backup Plugins" checkbox. Neovalen
MO 1.28 is up. Try it out yet? I never even used 12.7 cause of bugs in that version.... notes say that is fixed in 12.8 though. Link to comment

Installing Skyrim revisited and doing tes5edits and noticed that Consistent Older People is updated to 1.4. I guess it needs new instructions regarding what to edit? Link to comment
Aiyen
well 12.8 also states that in order to fix some of the bugs, he had to make some pretty big changes to his code so he suspect that more bugs will show their face soon. Guess I wait a little bit before upgrading! Last thing I want is problems with the MO atm! Link to comment
Smile44
So far 1.28 is working just as well as 1.27 was for me, which was fine. I have noticed no decrease in functionality from 1.26 upwards. Link to comment

mortimermcmire
Could you upload your enb config file if you have it customized? I assume you're using Unreal Cinema as stated earlier in the thread, but if you found something better I'd love to try it out. I'm not sure what (if anything) I should disable in the ini at this point. Edit: I should elaborate - I'm running CoT as well (despite the jury being out on Lighting so far), and while I get amazing fps outdoors, it seems to dip indoors much lower. Is the answer something like disable SSAO? Running a 6970 ATI card. Link to comment

It's really amazing in conjuntion with CoT ( it's been done for it actually ) the best i've found to my taste. Plus it has 5 performance options. I have only a HD5850M but it allows me to run the lowest preset ( no DOF no SSAO ) with only 10% fps drop. The result is still stunning. I'm using the Cinematic version. Link to comment
