NotARobot
I think the reason its done as a race edit instead of a quest spell is so that it affects NPCs as well as the player. I honestly don't know enough about modding, not sure if its possible to have something initialize after being unbound or whatever like other mods but also have it affect every single npc in the game. Maybe someone else could shed some light on that? I'm intrigued now, haha. Link to comment
skyrimnub
Kinda annoying' date=' now I got the VRAM under control, and the CTD´s are fairly far between now. However I do get random game frezzes. It can happen when I throw a spell at something, or if I get a skill point. Heck even if I am just attacking something. Common for each of them is that the sound playing goes into a loop so perhaps it is a sound issue. Is anyone else having a similar problem ?[/quote'] I'm in the same boat.  My two problems are spell lock-ups and transition infinite load/lock-ups (black screen w/ smoke, no text, no picture, music still plays, and I have the time-on-loading-screen mod and it keeps updating once a minute).  Basically I have to save/quicksave often, and always before a transition. For the spell lock-up, it happened like three times in a row and I disabled Deadly Spell Impacts and it didn't lock-up.  Possibly a coincidence.  I've since re-enabled it and it hasn't happened yet. I imagine SKSE will be a requirement. I'm a programmer by trade so at least on a fundamental level understand scripting so hope I can glean something from these other mods but honestly going in mostly blind. Link to comment
Aiyen
My first thought was the burn frezze shock mod instead of impacts for spell frezzes, but since it also does it when I do a char that never does a single spell that cannot be the only reason. The inf. load I also have around riverwood sometimes but most of the time it is just a like... 5-10 min load (I tested) but most of the time it is just faster to restart the game and load another savegame and then the one in question. I do not have any transition bugs yet though.. but then again atm I am disabling mods I dont want on my list to make loading times and general stability better (I hope.) Unless someone has some ideas on how to make the game unload data from previous cells better then I think I have reached the limit of sensible optimizations in the memory department. I think I would rather focus on helping out step with ENB´s since that intrigue me more. Also I would like to play the game at some point hehe. Link to comment

WilliamImm
Quick note: For Closer Quivers and Longer arrows, you might want to make a note that if you decide to play a male character using the modded game, then you should check "Shall the bolts quiver be hidden" in the installer. Reason being that quiver placement will look really off if that isn't done. Link to comment

EisDrache
I see Auto Unequip Ammo got a really nice update with MCM menu inclusion. Link to comment
Neovalen
Yeah lots of good updates today. Can't wait to get home from work. Link to comment
WilliamImm
Hmmm doesn't that mean it'll look off for male NPCs as well regardless? It might. However, that's not very big a worry, as unless you specifically look down at the waist of a crossbow wielder while up close and personal with them (which isn't that likely to happen). However, when you are looking at the quiver on your character, you don't want it to look all badly positioned. It's important for male PCs, but not for male NPCs. Link to comment

Will be more a rewrite than a patch though so may end up doing a full mod from scratch. We shall see. Can't really give any promises until I get a closer look. Link to comment
Neovalen
Figured I'd leave you guys with a few screenshots to end the day. This is with everything 2048 and half sized normals for the main foundation texture packs. Unreal Cinema ENB v2.5 (SMAA) with 45+ FPS everywhere. No crashes. Max VRAM used 2800mb. Used steam to take the screens so not the greatest but hey it works. :) Link to comment
Aiyen
Unreal Cinema got an endorse from me just because its the best DoF I have seen so far. Not annoying, and not performance heavy like most others... and most vitally you can create a new char without the face getting blurred when up close! But other then that I can say I have about the same performance as you do, just with 30fps avg instead of 45+ but I also have a card model one down and not SLI so that is expected, on the other hand I got a better CPU so I get a bit more performance in the shadow department to compensate. Yeah, I can totally see how it can be done with a quest & a cloak spell, shouldn't be too hard to implement. Unfortunately my only real experience with coding was a java class in highschool years ago, so I think I will leave this in the hands of a true professional like yourself. Good luck with it! :D Link to comment
