Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

The merges are at the bottom of the guide now and ICAO and the three patches are still merged into Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul Merged.esp.

Sorry, I was a couple pages behind on the changes.  Apparently when you open a page from the "recent changes" and scroll down it doesn't include an updated guide, it just shows the guide as it was in its current state when the change was made.  I see what you mean now.

no it not he removed that merge recently in fact it was removed last night.

so i say he didn't get time to update his CR

Do you reckon Neo will add that back in? (Merging ICAO as before.)

Also, I noticed we're not using the CACO_CCOR patch OR the CACO_Campfire patch, how come?

CACO_Campfire_Patch.esp (Not Needed With Current Version.)

as for CACO CCOR Patch i think we still need that but not in the merged patch.

think the merge for ICAO created more hassle then it fixed.

looking at the inital release schdule (he published) he is currently Only month behind what he said (which is quite good for him). i'm not planning of getting FO4 until the game of the year edition comes (you just know there will be one) and is cheap on steam so i am in hurry. so more time for witcher 3 which a really enjoying.

Fingers Crossed. If Last Seed is anything like Campfire and Frostfall then it may well be worth it. I was initially thinking of waiting for FO4 but, for once, I'd like to experience the game first-hand rather than get it spoiled.

CACO_CCOR patch and CACO_Campfire patch are not needed with the newest updated version of CACO.

CACO has now built-in compatibility with Campfire v.1.4+ and CCOR 1.7.

I assume these patches are only good for people using earlier versions of both said mods.

Speaking of CACO_CCOR patch...just noticed that it is not included in the guide as a "not-to-include" plugin.

It originally got eaten up by the bashed patch so I guess Neo hasn't paid it much heed.

The current pre-made CR patch seems to have Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul Merged as master still; doing a 'Clean Masters' didn't remove it either. Could it be that you haven't yet uploaded the most recent version?

Maybe I'm just too impatient, in that case I'm sorry lol

Yeah sorry, I fell asleep waiting for DynDOLOD. It's updated now. :)

CACO CCOR Patch was made obsolete by CCOR 1.7

I actually removed it from my local copy but forgot to add it in the guide, oops. Will fix when I can.

Having dug around a bit, I found this old Reddit post by Chesko detailing some preliminary thoughts about Last Seed. It doesn't seem too dissimilar to what iNeed already has, barring the notion of regular nourishment having a consistent boosting effect over a long time while irregular meals may lead to increasing debilitating effects.

He may well have refined and taken a different approach since the time he posted this but it does give some insight into what we might expect (Though this could all be old news to some people here :P)

If anything having a mod built from the ground up to work with CF and FF and made compatible with mods such as CACO may be more stable and performance friendly than a third-party needs mod, but then again I have never encountered any major issues with iNEED. It's been largely seamless.

@Neo,

Just curious, why did you change Vividian ENB, from Vivid to Vanilla?, in the ENB Main files section.

Wanted a change of pace and a less fantasy feel. Also, the SFO trees blend better with the vanilla edition (less neon color). Obviously you can disagree, just pick the one you like. :)

Hi Neo,

Immersive Citizens & patches - We don't merge them now. Is it because of navmesh records?

Yes. Dealing with merging navmeshes might not be difficult for veterans but it is tedious and did not feel saving these few esp slots warranted the hassle. I know there are other places esp slots can be saved... :)

Be interesting to see how his calculus has changed with CACO being out.

the biggest plus i can see with Last Seed over INEED is Compatbility and updates since Isoku has decided to take an Indefinite Break from modding it wont be updated anytime soon.

i am liking the new frostfall there are a few features that a missing i wish were there but it will be updated to 3.1 when he a finished testing (hopefully within a few weeks or when Chesko gets round to it)
