Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

i ran into a small issue while ingame  :

While  fighting  the dragon at the watchtower , said dragon  knocked my Follower Faendal  out  and then kept wailing on him until i could pull his aggro .

After killing it  i tried to  revive him but everytime i had the  follower wheel  from EFF  pop up  instead of getting the  grab, search ,revive window .

SO waking feandall up was made impossible  unless i dismissed him first and then i still had to wait for  hours  ( ingame ) before he woke up and moved back to riverwood .

i disabled Knock out  followers  so that should hopefully  solve it .

Personally NPC knockout overall actually does cause a lot of issues for me so I have droped it all together from my Load order. it isn't really needed and more importantly it is not inclued in SR conflict resoultion so it can be safely dropped.

With KO overhaul, you're meant to get a new menu that pops up when you "activate" a knocked out NPC. With followers, however, EFF gives you the option of having the wheel come up instead when trying to speak to an NPC. What's happened here, and I've experienced it too FYI, the wheel takes priority in coming up, opposed to the KO Overhaul window. The only real "fix", if you wanna call it that, is to either disable the wheel and opt for dialogue (available in the EFF MCM settings) or disable KO Overhaul altogether, like Darth_Mathias suggests.

PICK YOUR POISON!

I had a question of my own though, on a completely different note: is there a reason why Mature Skin forces all vanilla races to have 300 carry weight? Only realized whilst playing around with Requiem, haha. Surely this must be an oversight, regardless, I've left a comment on the author's mod page.

I've been searching for a solution to the EFF / KO Overhaul issue, so far no bones. I just disable Follower KO to work around for now. What needs to happen is a check for paralysis before opening the menu.

As for Mature Skin, it's because complexions and carry weight are both in RACE records. This means you gotta do some CR.

Damn it, I really wanted to stay away from conflict resolution... Looks like a fantastic thing to be able to do, but it also looks like it would take me hours to have an idea of what I'm doing, lol.

Is there any way of me using your premade CR esp and editing only mature skin, so I can bypass the whole procedure?

This is probably happening due to me using vanilla bodies and not unp.

Hey guys just transfered skyrim to my new SSD and doing some testing at the moment i am getting horrible frame walking around whiterun market top of the steps (same leavel as the statue of talos) is fine 60-58FPS in the marketplace it crashes to under 30fps, I hit breezze home whenit shoots back up to 60fps it s really strange.

I am wondering if i should actually move steam install cos at the moment steam is installed on my old mechanical drive, while Skryim is now installed on my new SSD

also i use Noble skyrim (instead of SRO) so I was wondering if it is worth DDSopt it? I think need to reduce my VRam as is running at max 3.8GB.

I really hope new Frostfall and Campfire aren't a pain to integrate. Both of them have patches associated with them from other mods and they are basically the only things holding me back from a new game.

Sod Fallout 4. Skyrim is the game I can't wait until november to play XD

me too I am pretty much just waiting for frostfall 3.0 and USLEEP to be released and intergate then my new playthrough will actually begin

I can see a lot of mods having to go through a revision when USLEEP comes out. The current USKP is a master for a fair number.

it's not as many mods as you would think. I downloaded USLEEP and took a quick look and with a current SRLE setup it is only about 6 or 7 mods (included SR Conflict) that would require updating/changing.
