Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I was wondering , when everything is installed from the guide  , how big is your Skyrim file size ?

Thinking of installing this again on a ssd But need to know if i got enough space for it .

My current file size of Mod Organizer folder is:

46.6 GB (50,125,430,784 bytes)

Granted I have in testing mods such as Skyrim HD on my drive right now so that shaves a few gigs right there.

I think I may also be waiting for Last Seed to roll around before I start a semi-serious playthrough.

The one I literally just started a few days ago has been great, apart from a few distractions. Certain bugs that will pull you straight out of the game and remind you that you're not actually 350lb nord on a quest to find treasure is always sad. Some of the more ambitious mods like the Cooking Overhaul specifically - way too many inconsistencies to fire off my OCD haha.

Edit: also a reminder, even though I'm sure you already know, CACO 1.03 released yesterday.

Yep, I am aware and updating my own copy. Been distracted with real life, battlefront beta, and witcher 3 massive patch. :)

CACO 1.03 is not including data from Water plant (Ruffle Feathers). This may need to be installed separately

thats strange, I wonder why krypt removed them.

EDIT: Found why

Removed Water Plants. SparrowPrince is still actively developing this mod and kindly asked me to remove the water plants from CACO to avoid conflicts with his recently updated version.

Neo can i ask what is the point of installing CACO Patches when we currently don't use any of the mod with SRLE (I realise the Campfire patch will be installed once Frostfall 3.0 is released)

Never mind I am blind you do say don't install the patches duh.

Neo just checking how to patch Real Shelter with vivid snow saw this on Real shelter mod comments

1.) Run RS Patch without Sheltered Weather checkbox
2.) Run VividSnow Patch
3.) Move VividSnow.esp After RSPatch.esp

but you don't say to do this so is what your advice.

Actually did not see this note, thanks for pointing it out. I made the correction. Still don't need a LOOT rule since the script will add RSPatch.esp as a master.

I tried it. RSPatch.esp was not added as a master for Vivid Snow.esp.

Darkside is right just done a completely fresh run of Real Shelter and Vivid snow (I even download both mods again to make sure they were fresh and even reset the weather ini for the enb)

the way threeten describe in the comments on the mod page and Vivid snow.esp does not get added to RSPatch.esp when using his suggested method.

edit Vivid snow.esp doesn't get added to RSPatch.esp even if the "remove Shelter Weather effects Visual effect is checked or not in the patcher".

the question now becomes did vivid snow ever get added to RSPatch before? maybe it didn't and i never paid any attention to it.

Interesting both Real shelter.esp and RSPatch.esp gets added to Vivid Snow's master list when running it's scripts.

so vivid doesn't get sucked in RSPatch but RSpatch does get sucked into Vivid Snow.
