Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Small question  : for serious Hd retexture you advice to use  ver 2.0 but ver 3.0 beta is out .

So now do i simply pick the 3.0 version  or the 2.0 one

If it's the later , do i also have to download the update file from the old versions ?

Neovalen, quick question if I may:
spwned stated the following in Moonlight Tales - Werewolf and Werebear Essentials:
"I'm not going to work on the Overhaul mod, because it's inferior in it's technical design (code, structure etc...) to this one in every way."

Is MT:Overhaul going to remain the werewolf mod of choice for SRLE, or are you considering a change to MT:Essentials?  Thank you for your time!

Interesting to know. Makes me wonder why the overhaul is still up then? From my understanding prior to reading this was MT essentials was supposed to be a stripped down version of the full package (hence the name). Apparently at some point this changed.

aH OK .

1 more  thing : can i enable other functions of ASIS aside from the enchantment fix  ( increased spawns and perks ) without issue  ?

I would recommend getting the ASIS Improved Ini Files if you're planning to activate increased spawns. The mod claims to add support for the Skyrim DLC and for SR:LE mods like Falskaar, Wyrmstooth, Moonlight Tales, OBIS, Deadly Dragons, High Level Enemies, Immersive Patrols and Immersive Creatures. However after playing with increased spawns for a while I recently decided to disable it because it occasionally led to unbalanced scenarios and laggy moments when the enemies spawned. At times it also seemed to duplicate NPCs that aren't supposed to be duplicated.. So yeah even with those ini files you might run into some oddities but it can be fun/challenging.

Then a small note about Automatic Perks, it is not recommended to enable this if you are using a perk overhaul (SkyRe, PerMa, SPERG etc)

Personally I use the Enchant Fix and Automatic Spells and things seem to work fine.

For Your Situational Awareness: spwned goes into some of the differences, like the disease system, and the reasons for the change in direction in the comments section of the MT:Essentials page.  Hope it helps!

Showracemenu worked great, thanks Neo.  Much better than I could have imagined.  I don't need no stinking face changer in Riften, thank you very much!

I use Asis increased spawns and perks, via Asis Improved INI, and they both work great.  I've tried the random spawns and it works great as well but have disabled it due to so many other mods already adding enough extra spawn points as it is.  There shouldn't be an additional need for patching with the perks, which work just like the enchanting fix does, i.e. it just pulls forward the last record, such as that from the SR Conflict Resolution.esp, and adds the additional perks to each npc.  If you're looking for a challenge it works great.  Also, it works fine with the perk overhauls, such as Sperg, Ace, Skyre, etc..., as it was recently updated to only add the perks from a predefined set of esps.  By default these are only the vanilla perks.  You can add Skyre, for instance, to the list and those perks will be added but that is not recommended.  Adding just the vanilla perks, however, makes for a much more challenging game.

Speaking of challenging...This newest play through I added deadly combat, combat evolved, animal tweaks, and action combat ( which was the only one from this list that I hadn't tried before ), loaded in that order, and battles are truly amazing.  If anyone is getting bored with combat and looking to mix it up I can't recommend that combination enough.  Keep in mind that you'll need to drop Dual Wield Parrying to get the most out of Action Combat.
