Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I'm running 1.3.6.  Using the information there I've been able to get the Skyproc Patcher to run through MO, but only the ASIS patcher is showing up, not the Dual Sheath Redux patcher, still trying to figure that one out.

EDIT: removed SUM from my applications list and added it again and it's showing both patchers now.

Wondering why Vivid Clouds and Fogs install does not use CoT and AOS patches when installing. Also, has ESS been proposed at all? Looks like a good mod.

Its already installed as part of Vividian ENB. As for ESS, I'm pretty happy with the weathers as they are atm... so if I'm to look at something its likely not going to be weathers anytime soon.

It looks like the SFO 2.3b update changes the treepineforestbarkcomp3*.dds texture, making it conflict with TreeHD and the corresponding Upgrade and Fix mod.  It's a tough call since the new SFO is darker and looks great but the TreeHD seems to have a bit more detail ( through they're both 1024x4096 @ 2.66 MB so it might just be my imagination ).  The treepineforestbarkcompsnow*.dds is different as well but I haven't seen one yet in game so IDK if those conflict as well.  The conflict is the problem with the bottom half of the tree being one texture and the top half being another.

I tried an experiement in which I set the Frame Rate Limiter in Nvidia Inspector to 35, left V-Sync on and set the Vertical Sync Tear Control to adaptive and the problems I was having with stuttering out in the open world are much, much better.  It wasn't a huge issue for me before but enough to be annoying and an issue in large battles but now it's running great.  And by that I mean like 99% fixed completely.  A new game still stutters for a few seconds as everything loads but after like 5 seconds it's not an issue at all.  I can spin around and around with no problems, which is great.  With Skyrim I don't notice any difference between 35 fps and 55, or higher, so it's an easy compromise to justify.  Just curious if anyone else has tried this or wants to try and see if it works for them as well.

Trees Fixed (I think) if I missed something let me know.

Just a reminder that the MCM for iNeed has been totally changed in the new versions, so the MCM for iNeed in the guide isn't quite accurate.

Fixed.

Neo, ELE has been updated with the focus on forwarding USKP edits. Also, outside Riften there some Khajiits. The female Khajiits have some kind of bandanas on their heads but they are purple. Could you check?

EDIT: I played the Battle of Whiterun on the Imperial side and noticed that Hadvar and Legate Rikke had also purple armor textures.

Quick question since i am installing this again .

When i place the optimized textures  in their correct place  , they get labeled as redundant .

Is this normal ?

the optimized textures for the 3 dlc's are redundant because any of the textures worth optimizing are also included in the HRTP's. so just remove the redundant ones - they're just wasting space.

This did not used to be the case, however I have read a few reports now that this is so. It certainly is not the case for my optimized files but then I did it a very long time ago.

yes, tony has also confirmed this a while back

apparently this happens with STEPs optimization process, as well

Well, will have to run through it again then one of these days and then update.

I just realized that I keep forgetting to set up the weapons tab during character creation.  Is there a way to do this on an existing character that was set up with race menu and XP32 installed from the beginning of the game?

console "showracemenu"

PSA: ELE updated to latest, conflict resolution updated as well.
