Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Hey, I'm contemplating removing Frostfall and replacing it with Campfires until Chesko releases Frostfall 3.0

The script lag and messages have just started to become a major irritant and I'd rather do without the hypothermia mechanic for a few months and have a (slightly more) stable game and just roleplay the fact that cold weather is a no-go.

The conflict resolution patch lists Frostfall as a dependancy, though. Is there a way of removing it as a master file from SR Conflict Resolution.esp until that time when the new Frostfall is released and integrated into the guide?

I noticed that after Wet & Cold 2.0, Frostfall message is much less often.

Hey guys, I'm attempting to run the SUM.jar through MO and when I click Run MO fades and locks like something's going to run and then it unlocks and goes back to normal and SUM never loads. I have the latest version of java and this actually worked just fine a week ago. Any help's appreciated.

I'm seeing this in the logs, any ideas?:

On another note, I was also wondering why more of the mods had not been merged as the installation took place. I saw a YouTube clip that merged a whole lot of body and facial mods and I was wondering why this sort of thing was not done in SRLE. Is it because control over how the mods works is lost? And if so, should I have said "no" when MO asked if I wanted to merge mods that had the same name (usually compatibility patches that went with a mod)?

Do you mean merging the files within mod organizer on the left pane? Personally I merge all compatibility patches and optionals under a single name on the left pane per mod. The outcome will be the same, it's really just preference. I like to have as clean a list as possible, others prefer to see what exactly is enabled and installed. I hardly ever mess with the installation once it's done, and if I upgrade mods to newer versions then I usually do a clean reinstall of srle anyway in case something changed.

Got this issue, the only mod I installed is 3DNPC and I didn't forget the RRR patch.

Any idea where could this come from ? It's in the frostfruit INN in Rorikstead.

Hi Monobloc,

For such issues and in general when you want to find out which object comes from which mod; I would highly recommend installing MFG Console from Nexus.

Then, bring up the console in game "~ key", click on the object that is clipping etc and you will have a nice detailed list of which esp this object is coming from.

Then you can work it out from there!  ::):

Yeah I did that, It says that all objects are modified by RRR, but since no one has this issue, I don't know what to do.

For 3DNPC...I assume no but as mentioned I ma not using that mod.

Also, since you are using a pure SR:LE, you must be using ELFX patch for RRR.

I really do not know if both patches have any conflicts between them; it might be a good idea to check them out in TES5Edit or just start by swapping their load order.

Just throwing out ideas here since I do not have 3DNPC in my load order.  ::(:
