Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

Solved it - for some reason BOSS was not updating my master list (my previous version was from about 8/26/13) when I ran it (even though it identified the list as being the 1/21/14 list). I deleted the master list and ran BOSS (outside of MO) and it created a new master list (with the BUM changes I had already made) and then it worked fine when I ran BOSS inside of MO. Weird.

I wonder if it is due to using the new version (1.1 Beta) of MO.

It's on the drop down menu "Page Tools" which is on the top right of the page.

:)

Thanks a lot.

By the way, everyone, which dragon texture pack do you recommend ?

The guide has Bellyaches HD Dragon Textures in it.

Wah, I am either blind or blind.

Edit : I have massive framerate issues indoors, It seems to be related to ELFX with and without enb, despite the fact that I can't prove it directly, Testing without and running 60 solid fps. Seems a bit odd.

After another day of testing SRLE (my 3rd install since coming back to modding) I have finally found the culprit that caused CTDs on my setup. After the full install, I disabled category by category to determine where the error was. The CTD occured every time between 15 and 25minutes of playing so it was very annoying to test :P

Anyways, it was entirely (as I expected) due to my own wrongdoing. I noticed the CTDs stopped when I disabled the creature mods Bellyaches, CH & SIC. Then I found out that I didn't put config the MCM settings yet. After disabling the autoloot function from CH and putting SIC profile at Purist instead of Default, all crashes are gone and the game runs stable @ ugrids7. I am not sure which of the 2 actually caused the CTDs, but I suspect it was a global script which started to run about 10-20minutes every time after starting the game. Also am still not 100% convinced that either of these mods have faulty scripts. CH has basically never caused any issues for me and SIC has a rigoruos test team which basically rules out errors on SIC's part.

Second, there is another issue which I haven't been able to solve with the SRLE mods: Using the guide's skin&body mods, the females in particular have bad neck seams and sometimes even mismatching body and face skin colors. I've gone through reinstalling them multiple times but I cannot get rid of the issue with the SRLE mods. However, when I apply the skins from NO More Ugly Bronze Shrine  or when using the full UNP replacer pack of Alt Nuvetsa NP Seamless then there are no more mismatchign body & face colors and also the seaming is reduced to minimal levels. I get the feeling I am missing something here but I cant figure out for the life of me where I go wrong... Followed the directions to the letter multiple times now.

Given any thought to including the HD Retexture for Cloaks? :)

Did you install both textures and normals from Mature Skin? They're separate downloads.

Hi!

First of all, thx you for this great pack!

Two remarks after several played hours:

1) I definitively have a problem with the mod Touring Carriages causing random CTD when approching a city: this time, close to Whiterun and two months ago (another installation) close to Riverwood. I am pretty sure that this is this mod because the CTDs vanish without this mod installed.

2) Some people are naked: Benor at Morthal and the assistant of the priest at Falkreath (forgot his name).

That's all for the moment :)

Hello Neo, just a quick check since many other ESP's were replaced ...with the ESP's from WAF.

Winter Is Coming - CCO Compatible Version NEW provides the same ESP as Winter is Coming Cloaks = 1nivWICCloaksCRAFT.esp

Can we remove the one from Winter is Coming ?

According to the CCO front page, all those patches are intended to be replacers.

I have a quick question about Dragon Soul Absorb More Glorious. Is there a reason the Dragonborn Patches are not included in the install instructions?
