Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

To clarify : I don't get frequent CTDs but the game freezes relatively often' date=' when opening my inventory' date=' my skills, when starting to craft, when fast-travelling etc.[/quote'']

This sounds like Safety Load issue, that affects many players (myself included). Remove that mod and see if that helps. FYI, it corrupted my save beyond repair, I could not use it, even after I've removed SL. I cannot confirm 100%, but I have good reasons to believe that this was the case, therefore I would recommend coming back to an earlier save.

Replace SL with the new Memory Patch 3.0.

Just for reference, this has already been done in the guide. SL was removed as soon as mem patch 3.0 came out. I have not had a single crash or freeze since installing it and I'm running uGrids 9 for testing purposes.

Hello Neo, really sorry to bother since you've been so quick in updating the new ENB settings, but just for confirmation please...

You added EnableProceduralSun settings at the end of that bit concerning the ENB settings in the guide, however, at the top it is set to "False"

(EnableProceduralSun=false), has this been added in preparation of testing purposes or should it be set to true to enable the settings added at the end?

Saw that' date=' need to look more into it.

I'm following the guide to the letter so no Safety Load. Also this is with a vanilla save (downloaded on the Nexus' date=' Level 1 saved just before looking for the Elder Scroll, no mods and nothing else done). After an hour or 20 minutes the game will freeze randomly.[/quote']

Not sure what to say, I have no issues on uGrids 9 and I'm even running BFS and DSI right now to stress the system further... Is anyone else experiencing this?

Saw that, need to look more into it.

I saw this too and am very dubious about it.  Just reading the description it seems to require a weight of 80 plus (which can start to look silly in UNPB) and has problems in the back and with some armors.  Is it any better than the base mod?  It sounds like the author needs to remake it with something other than nifskope.

Just re-installed SR:LE into a clean mods folder. I had most of the downloads, but otherwise a new install. Took 6 and half hours including the patch. Played for a couple of hours no problems and this was with ugrids set to 7 which seems fine with dof. Only minor problem was the fps dipped somewhat from what I am used to not to an unplayable level, above 20 most of the time. All textures are as they should be according to the guide.

Now to add some gameplay mods. I am thinking of using Stealth Skills rebalanced and smithing perks overhaul does anyone have any suggestions for the other perk trees? I could use ACE but maybe some others have been working well.

Hey guys, I noted that IA capes use Body AddOn slot 12 instead of slot 5 like the other cloak mods. This means two things:

1. You can wear two cloaks...

2. DSR will NOT pick up the fact that you are wearing an IA cloak and not move the shield out accordingly.

I have informed HothTrooper of the discrepancy and he is looking into it for an update.

This is a newbie question and I think I probably know the answer. I am currently working on modding Skyrim with your guide Neovalen. I like all the detail and explanation in it, I do have 1 question do the DLC ESMs and Update ESM go into Mod Organizer/mods/overwrite? or do we move them to the root folder? and move the originals to the overwrite?

and the Cleaned Vanilla ESMs do the ESMs go in here?
