Astakos
I think that this must be the case. Thanks guys. I must redo some quests though... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Link to comment
Neovalen
Status Update: I have recently reformatted my system and do not have a running SR install at this time. Thus, I will be running through the entire guide and using it as an opportunity to simplify/rewrite portions of SR. I will likely work on this separately to preserve the existing guide in present form. Minor updates may be made based on user feedback. I know many of you were hoping for perks/weapons suggestions soon but figure I should take this opportunity to do some spring cleaning especially now with new TES5Edit and the behind the scenes STEP work being done. Don't worry, SR is not dead... just being revised. :) Link to comment

rootsrat
@Neo - hope it will go smooth and that the final-new version of SR is even better than this one. 1 quesion - SR suggests to install unofficial patches as first and thrn other fixes, where STEP recommends to install them after some fixes were installed. Is there any reason/difference? Link to comment
Neovalen
With SR if there is a clash you'd merge the USKP changes in so it makes sense they come afterwards. :) Obviously STEP doesn't do this. Link to comment
Iroha
aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp v.1.85 provides changes from USKP now. ASW-GDO Patch.esp isn't necessary now too, no conflicts with GDO even without Weapons and Armor Fixes - Remade.:) Link to comment

I'm specifically referring to, Valor Armor - Playable Tsun, CBBE Tsun Female Armor and UNP-UNPB Conversion of CBBE Tsun Female Armor? Or do we still need those because of the UNP body? I am thinking that's the case. We can however remove aMidianBorn Tsun when updating to 1.85, correct? Link to comment

So on second question - yes, Tsun is included now, you can remove old package:) my patince was awarded, hehe Link to comment
Smile44
Amidianborn Glass, and Tsun Armors can go, but not Nordic yet I think. The Body specific ones would need to stay though -Â presumably any patches to do with USKP and GDO can go as well. Probably going to need to look at all the patches eventually as more and more modders are cleaning up their mods and trying to get everything working together probably STEP and SR in particular have something to do with that. I'm looking forward to the new release of SR even if it does mean re-installing it or parts of it. All part of the fun. :) Link to comment
phazer11
Yeah I'm not looking forward to re-installing but if I see a deal on the DLC's and/or an EVGA card I'll probably just bite the bullet and get them making a full rework worth it. On the upside I likely won't need to re-download the texture mods or most of the others (excepting ones like BoS and the Unofficial Patches). This whole skeleton thing is bugging the hell out of me though. Link to comment
Jormungand24
Didn't know where else to post this, but I'm about to cry with happiness! Even though I'm reaching the 3GB limit for CTD's, before the CTD happens I have the Skyrim I always imagined and have always wanted. It is beautiful, and so detailed. Oh how I wish the executable could handle more RAM because I am going to be so reluctant to back down my textures and lose what I have just experienced. I took advantage of it and took screenshots of my world to always remember it by. Thank you Neo for putting together a guide to bring out the true beauty of Skyrim. I just wish it could have realized it's potential without the software and hardware limitations we must work around to be playable. Amazing! I'll welcome the changes to the guide to combat the CTD's. But first, I'm going to try and optimize everything I have and see if it helps. If not, then I want to bring down the normals to 1k first, before touching the textures, and see if it works. I want to downgrade as minimal as possible. I'm just so happy with the game I just experienced today finally in it's full glory and want to thank Neo and the entire team he works with for an amazing job well done! Link to comment
