Aeroscorp Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Hey, all! I wasn't 100% sure on how to describe my problem, so I made a video to show it. It's only a minute long. https://youtu.be/QsJd9c1ro48 My mod list is STEP and my specs are in the link below: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Aeroscorp/SystemSpecs Thanks for the help, everyone! It really makes no sense to me why I'm having these issues with a high-level CPU and GPU.
0 Aeroscorp Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 I've tried frame limiting, triple buffering, iFPSClamp, uninstalling old drivers, etc. None of the fixes typically recommended for stutter problems have resolved the issue, making me think there's either something wrong with the game, DX9, or the graphics drivers. Any idea or is this a totally unique problem?
0 TechAngel85 Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Have you run BethINI? If not, I would recommend it. The only thing I can think of that would cause such an issue is a rogue INI edit somewhere or a mod that is overwriting the default INIs. Enhanced Skyrim Camera comes to mind.
0 Aeroscorp Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 Hey, thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem. Another side effect of it is that, in first-person only, a wielded weapon will jitter badly. It's almost as if two images are attempting to load at once.
0 DoubleYou Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Perhaps, since it only occurs in first person, you should try one of the various mods that make first person a modified form of third person, like perhaps Enhanced Skyrim Camera. IFPSClamp should be set to 0. Does this happen in the vanilla game?
0 Aeroscorp Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 It happens both in vanilla and with Enhanced Camera. I removed FPS Clamp after it didn't solve the issue. Should I add it back in with 0?
0 Aeroscorp Posted November 1, 2016 Author Posted November 1, 2016 Embarrassed to write this, but it was because I had accidentally turned on the 8x repeat delay on my keyboard.
