0 TechAngel85 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Approximately what level are you with this character?
0 MissShaoHuan Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Eight and a half :-) Edit: Correction, darn phone. Also, why? Edited April 12, 2016 by MissShaoHuan
0 TechAngel85 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Just curious if this is a recent issue on a newer or older save. I'm thinking this might be a mod problem rather than a setup problem. The only thing I can think of is that looks off is your reserved RAM in your enblocal.ini looks a little high. How did you end up on that value?
0 MissShaoHuan Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 I used the VRAM tool in the STEP guide. Just did it again and I get 7808 minus the 170 for Windows 7. I essentially make profiles and build up my LO.STEP ExtendedSTEP E & Dovahkiin RebornSEDR + (a few other mods I love like Alternative Crafting etc.)SEDRPlus & Vivid Weathers (+ its ENB)SEDRPV & Legacy of the DragonbornSEDRPVL & Immersion mods like Frostfall and iNeed
0 TechAngel85 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 No, your ReservedMemorySizeMb seems high. How did you settle on 384?
0 MissShaoHuan Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 OH apologies. I've tried it at 128 and 256 and experience stuttering so have been trying out 384. Not with the new defaultheap though so perhaps I should put it down to 128 again and see?
0 TechAngel85 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 You could try, but it wouldn't make a difference unless you're running out of memory. Actual, have you ran Skyrim Performance Monitor to see how much memory the game is using? The graph might provide a clue at what's happening at the moment of crash.
0 MissShaoHuan Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 Yes I run it all the time when I play, although I'm still learning how to read it properly.
0 TechAngel85 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I think we basically need to get you running with a higher heap to fix this. Have you tried the higher heap it on a new game or coc to riverwood to see it the game with load it? Oh, I seen the rest of your earlier post. So it's working okay now?
0 MissShaoHuan Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Seems to be, yeah. Is it worth me trying to reduce my reserved memory now? I probably shouldn't try this load order on a new game as it must be a lot for the game to load and initialise all at once.Edit: I'm still giving my current save a workout to see if the freezing happens. 0 TechAngel85 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Okay, cool. That was most likely the problem then. Glad it's working! I would try to lower it, if you can do so without stuttering. That will release more memory for the game to use.

0 GrantSP Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Those entries in the MO log are not related to crashes. All games, whether they crash or not, sometimes make unresolved exceptions and MO is just making note of them. My installation is very stable and my logs always have that listing.
0 MissShaoHuan Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Odd. Is there a way for me to find the source of the crash? It hasn't happened again since. Edit: So I tried to reload it and it crashed immediately, tried again without doing anything (except to comment on here) and it loaded ... Must be a mod issue right? 0 TechAngel85 Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 What is your new Memory Blocks Log? Have you hit your limit again?
