  1. If you like mud crabs so powerful they destroy entire towns then animal tweaks is awesome.....i dont. Combat evolved is fantastic.....but he missed the boat with animal tweaks.
  2. Please dont remove skytest. Animal tweaks is awful. I think the selection of mods is pretty good. I am coming to this from requiem....and its kind of comparable to requiem in difficulty. Requiems dragons are insanely strong too..dragons are end game content and supposed to be extremely strong creatures that skyrim needs a hero to save. I actually even like scarcity which i wasnt sure of at first. In requiem even as a level 25 mage dragons still destroyed me. And i mean i could barely put a dent in them. You can never please everyone.
  3. I do use vigor but the fix from disparity fixed the big for me too.
  4. When installing the rule is optionals or patches get installed as separate mods. Updates to main files or hot fixes get merged into original mod. That's how I do it.
  5. They know about it. Since DX9 is a thing of the past its not high on their priority list. Aside from a heavily modded skyrim no DX9 games really use more than 4. I really prefer skyrim flora overhaul over enhanced vanilla trees. I actually seem to be getting about the same type of performance hit. I went EVT just for the sake of following the guide exactly. Maybe im wrong but EVT might even be more of a performance hit. Definitely should have removed NPC knockout overhaul too......
  6. Just want to say thank you for a great guide. This really is the ultimate skyrim. Took me multiple attempts to get everything installed but got it all going this past week. I have had the chance to do some actual playing the game and i havent had any CTD's and my performance isnt bad either. 4 hours and no crashes. I did have two frozen loading screens tho. I Used mostly 1k textures whenever possible to keep my poor 970 from reaching 3.5. SPM shows me peaking at around 3GB. I cant keep up with all the updates tho lol.
  7. I am using the latest CR and havent had any CTDs and ive started in Falkreath just because of these posts.
  8. I cant say it happens most of the time but i think it is a fairly common thing even without this setup. I know a lot of my crashes are loading a save particularly after dying. Doesnt happen super often tho.
  9. After about a week to install BOTH guides i finally have it all done. Just making final load order tweaks and some other adjustments then running the scripts for DynDOLOD and the patchers. Anyone else experience much longer loading times running all this? I play on an SSD but my loading times are much much longer than what they were.
  10. Cutting room floor has a patch that gets installed along with it in Neos original guide. It isnt listed under cutting room floor in the integration guide. Edit...NVM think its just moved down to the RS Children section with the merge.
  11. Another mistake in the integration guide is the Cutting Room Floor RS children patch.
  12. I wondered the same thing. Since its not included in the merge my guess is no. Could just be a mistake.
  13. The way I got SPM to work was launch it through MO. Unlock it and then launch the game like you normally would with SKSE. If you set it up correctly it should work. Reference gamer poets video.
  14. I just finished the SRLE base and i used almost all 1K textures to save VRAM. SPM has me peaking around 2.5GB. If you compromise on some texture resolution you will fine on windows 10.
  15. Use skyrim performance montior to check system resources during the crashes.
