SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified
jdsmith2816 replied to paul666root's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Vampire invasions aren't a thing with Requiem and Requiem dragons have fear built-in so non-combatant's flee... As I said, between Requiem and Wet and Cold everything we need is covered that you'd normally use ICAIO Lite for. As for the full version.. it's too incompatible with other things we want to add to the guide and it's a cpu eater. -

It was dropped for more reasons than just to allow inclusion of town overhauls. A few pages back you can find a link to a reddit discussion. Check the comments by arthmoor, thalassa and nazenn. Between wanting to improve the cities/villags and that thread it just made sense to drop it. I'm about 80% sure you can load up ICAIO lite if you want it for some reason but there's not really any benefits derived from the Lite version not covered by requiem + wet and cold. Guide currently looks strange because we ran into an unknown limitation... You can only include a set amount of Templates before it quits parsing your page. Every mod block and every text color change currently is a template... It's being updated now to use an alternative method to color the text that bypasses the Fc template so that we can finish it up without hitting that limitation. Could I get some feedback on the WLSO section of the integration guide page? I've been trying out a few things to try to make it easier to follow... The current iteration seen there is the best I've come up with. If people think that's easy and compact enough I'll see about moving that styling to the rest of the page. -

It really isnt' that bad... You can get past low level bandit time in a 2-3h time period fairly easily using several training paths... The easiest method is probably starting in solitude or windhelm and doing alchemy. -

I've always been wary of using uncapper with Requiem. Nothing would be worse than upsetting the balance imo. -

Woot! I'm glad to hear some early results of playthroughs going well. Please make sure to let us know if you run into any strange issues! I've switched WLSO up several times mid playthrough with no bad effects so far. I suggest going NLVA and trying out SnowFall ENB located at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79335/? It's based off of Rudy NLVA but includes amazing real time frosting of the world during blizzards. I'm not sure if the fomod/guide has been updated yet but if you choose to go this route You need the normal WLSO bits and bobs but for weather section speciically... Install VW with no optionals and move the esp to optional. Next install NLVA and the True Storms replacer esp. You want to load NLVA on left/right after VW and True Storms. Now you need to install the AOS version of the SnowFall ENB data file. The glacier.esp will be expecting the standard NLVA not NLVA TS so it'll complain about missing master but this is trivial to fix. - Open Wrye Bash - Click on NLVA TS esp Look at the bottom right section where it lists the masters for the esp. - Right click the filename column header and choose edit - Enable edititing (forget exactly what it says...) - Tell it yes you're not a ****** and you do know what you're doing.. - Right click the NLVA master - Choose change - Scroll down the giant file list until you find NLVA TS esp - Select it and then hit ok - Click on save and close wrye bash - Go into your overwrite folder and delete the bash patch esp Now Glacier AoS esp will be looking at NLVA TS for the master instead of normal NLVA. If the fomod for WLSO hasn't updated yet then you can grab wlso__glacier.esp from my dropbox at the following link https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hmj7x6vc3yj7g1h/AADF0LKCBw2ypspwrclyLhHja?dl=0 Just put wlso__glacier.esp in your wlso patches folder and merge it alpha with the rest of wlso as normal. Install the SnowFall ENB as normal.. nothing special here just don't enable the enb lens effect. -

Not sure johny, again sorry about the state of things right now; just alot of change going on. Having said that.. I'm definitely not crashing on my personal version of the install but it contains all teh updates that aren't on the guide yet. -

Sorry, things are in a bit of a flux.. Paul had to leave in the midst of updating the guide. Hold off on using the updated stuff until it's wrapped up. Sorry things got to this state... been a crazy couple days. I only had time to skim, will read ind epth later but to answer the questions that jumped out at me... There's a full set of patches to make all of the ectf stuff work together.. they haven't been uploaded yet. Skyrim Radioactive Interiors Glorified has been patched up as well.. hasn't been uploaded yet. CFTO being incompatible with holds... I think we just need to move a cart or a boat in a place or two, right? We need some sort of fast travel update system and CFTO is vastly more compatible with things than BFT and is actually maintained. Again... sorry for the poor timing on guide changes this time. It'll all get sorted out soon. We've given ourselves until the end of the month to get things stand alone and baseline of mods locked into place... At that point it should just be maintenance and balance tweaking based upon feedback. -
Looks like Darth is retiring and Neovalen has already stepped away. You're free to check out the SRLE Reqtified guide if you'd like. Having said that... we're currently updating it to be a standalone experience so things will be in flux for a bit. We've decided that we have until the end of the month to lock down all of the content.

It's not a mistake... you should NOT keep it. It's outdated... just use my relevant race compat patches. It's been a great run Darth; you'll feel the skyrim bug again eventually. One does not simply quit modding skyrim ;) -

This is correct. Just please note that it's unwise to just leave your additional mods at the end of the load order... Eventually I want to create a youtube video where I go over the process of properly figuring out where to place additional mods that you may install.... Just so many things to do right now :( -

mteFunctions.pas is a library of.. functions.. procedures... tools.. however you can understand it. You just need the most recent version in whatever location it's being looked for. having multiple copies in different places doesn't matter.. just make sure it's the same version, preferably the newest version. -

It rarely happens.. there's a bug ticket open for it that mator hasn't gotten around to yet. Having said that... all you need to do is backup the merges.json file in your merge plugins profile directory. If it ever disappears just drop it back in there. Like I said, it's a pretty rare situation... you got unlucky. :( -

I think you'll end up having to choose one or the other. Having said that... RMA makes alot of updates to the civil war sieges and such... they're much better balanced now. It obvoiusly does't do the expansion to the quest line that CWO does but the Civil War feels much better with RMA than i vanilla. The version of TK Dodge being installed is tied to Requiem's perk tree... you can't dodge without having the perk. This gives us a less clunky dodge that's also configurable in MCM without unbalancing Requiem. The way we've configured Wildcat makes it slot nicely into the gameplay... The only concern is 35% damage reduction when low on stamina rather than 10%. I'll probably patch that up because ti can be a bit punishing. In the meantime you can just turn that off if it feels too punishing to you. Give it a try and see what you think... It's 100% optional nothing in the guide will ever depend on the presence of either mod. Just so we're clear i'm 100% dedicated to the gameplay. If something ends up not working out and trivializes some content or just makes things feel... not requiem... we'll fix it. Having said that... Requiem isn't perfect and gentle nudges can make a big difference. -

Wildcat meshes well with Requiem combat if you set the mcm menus appropriately. My testing playthrough has been as a paladin and I have definitely felt the lack of Wildcat. I'll probably add a patch to revert the damage reductionw hen out of stamina to Requiem's 10% rather than Wildcat's 35% but it's still playable like this. If the damage reduction is a bit much in the meantime you can just disable it in the mcm until I make that change. If you feel Wildcat's changes aren't necessary you can definitely leave it out; nothing in the guide will ever depend upon it's presence. TK Dodge was added. Requiem has a built in dodge mechanic but it's a bit clunky... The replacer esp linked in the guide updates TK Dodge so that it's only available once you've taken the appropriate perk in Requiem. This keeps it balanced as intended but gives us the less clunky and more configurable dodging. -

It'll all depend on the resolution of the textures you choose. But yeah I expect a 4GB card to be fine. -

All ICAIO patches have icaio somewhere in the file name. 1. Open the merge subguide, go to the revision before removal, search for icaio. 2. Download the fresh archives for those merges as in some cases the contents actually changed to support fully modularizing icaio since I knew some people would want to keep it. 3. Note down name of merges being redone 4. Install downloaded archives (choose replace) 5. Load up CURRENT merge sub-guide 6. Redo previous noted merges. 7. Enjoy an ICAIO-less skyrim? Before anyone asks.. When Vampires Attack and the dragon version of hte same thing are not needed... Requiem disables dawnguard vampire raids and requiem dragons have fear built into them so that non-hostiles flee. In order to remove ICAIO on my existing playthrough... 1. Go to an empty interior. 2. Disable all options in ICAIO MCM menu 3. Wait for a few days 4. Make a named save - press ` to open console - type exactly: save "before cleaning" 5. Quit game 6. Remove ICAIO 7. Re-run Reqtificator and re-do the reqtificator updates as normal 8. Open resaver.. Located at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76776/? if you don't currently hav eit 9. Load your "before cleaning" save file 10. Press ctrl+1 11. Press ctrl+s 12. Choose a name such as "after cleaning" 13. Open skyrim and load your "after cleaning" save 14. Force a full cell reset - press ` to open console - type: setgs iHoursToRespawnCell 1 - type: setgs iHoursToRespawnCellCleared 1 - press ` to close console - rest for 1 hour - press ` to open console - type: setgs iHoursToRespawnCell 720 - type: setgs iHoursToRespawnCellCleared 7200 - press ` to close console 15. Test things I'm not actually sure if the full cell reset will cause people in cities to respawn... If not then those steps are pointless. I know when updating stats on enemies that have already spawned you need to force a cell reset so they'll respawn with the updated stats. My assumption, which could be wrong, is that this will also cause new versions of the city npc's to spawn with the updated (reverted to vanilla i guess) ai packages. For me it seems to have worked as expected and I've been able to continue playing... Who knows if I'll have problems later? Cleaning your save is never a guaranteed thing. -

Sticking with current tree setup is fine it just requires running around and removing alot of trees that are sticking out of buildings and such if you update to the content that's coming out later this month. We didn't want to deal with that and we both really dislike those damn willows and some of the placement of the pink trees. -

Beautification sub-guide will be out before end of month. It could be next week.. or it could be on Halloween... but it'll come out this month lol. I've done all of the work for actually integrating it on my SRLE Reqtified installation... took notes.. gave notes to paul.. he was able to replicate the process. It's all in a messy txt file right now and needs some real work to bring it up to the standards of the actual guide. While I've been working on prettying up what we currently have Paul has been working on preparing the city and interior overhauls. Last night I updated WLSO to include CoT and Dahaka . I'm not sure if paul updated the archives and guide yet. All that's left is adding support for NLVA... I'll get around to it eventually. -

Did you run relinker? Is relinker output set to just before dyndolod texgen? Relinker fixes some missing tree lods due to merges. We're going to re-do our tree choices. Between the really ugly and out of place willows and how incompatible it is with anything changing the exteriors of cities.. Doubt guide gets updated until tomorrow evening.. If you want to go ahead and update your trees since you're dealing with tree lod issues anyways.. SFO 2.5b (no esp, just meshes and textures) SFO Bill Boards EVT (same options as current) fallen tree bridges Current grass merge Paul will get the various guides updated tomorrow i believe if you prefer to wait. -

Ignore the details on the mod page; follow the instructions in the guide. The insructions on the mod page are for people that are going ot just install it and not resolve the conflicts... No clue what you mean by the SR patch. Install ICH Patches again... choose manual... set the 50 Apophysis directory as data. Name it whatever it's named in the guide. -

Just for clarities sake.. Requiem Minor Arcana has absorbed SkyTest-Lite which contains all of the SkyTest AI changes. Base requiem has properly rebalanced the stats for animals. The two make SkyTest completely unnecessary unless you really just want like the baby wolves. Mortal Enemies adjusts the combat range nad angle of attack for most everything. Think of it like the attack commitment mod but... better. I haven't dug deeply into RRE-Enhanced lately but the consensus on the requiem reddit last I checked was not to use it. As part of the town/city overhauls/beautification the interiors of inns and shops are going to be drastically upgraded anyways... Assuming you follow that sub guide when it's released.
