  1. Is it really ok to run this tool on my entire folder? I once read somewhere a long time ago that optimizing skin retextures will ruin the quality of them, Is this still true?
  2. LOL so I just finshed installing SMC with a texture folder of 17.7 Gb my Skyrim install is now 116Gb compared to the 117Gb it was before lol. Note I did remove all the mods from MO that are apart of SMC so no dupes are found.
  3. I was going through the SMC mods andnoticed that No Snow Under the Roof is in the list and so is LeanWolf's Better-Shaped Talos Statue but the version that SMC wants for the Talos statue is the non NSUTR version. Not too sure about that.

  5. Ohhhh, awhile ago I asked if anyone by chance knew why my MO was performing backups each time I installed a mod. Well I just figured out why. Well you see in the SS all of those Interesting NPCs are full backups of the mod size entirety so memory was getting bogged down cause of that, but also note the checkbox "Keep Backup" was on this whole, I dont when I ticked to be honest haha.
  6. LuL dont worry im worse off than you are...mine is 117 GB :/ lol its still a WIP but this is the dilema with instally full textures mods rather than overwriting them like in NMM. Edit: If I used SMC Im sure my folder size would decrease drastically, might be a fun experiment lol.
  7. SO if I use that optimizer SirJ what settings should I tick for optimizing IW, the dxt fields?
  8. Its the NPCS using that weapon that can casue the crashes, is what is being discussed.
  9. Ah yeah I can see that, guess the easiest way to prevent that crash is to remove that weapon from the leveled list entirely and smith it to obtain it. I think we should still keep the mod though and from the LoTD page here is how IW is supported. "Patch provies a handful of unique item displays in the museum, renames all IW unenchanted copies of unique items to be labeled " Replica " and also adjusts placements of the mace of Aevar stonesinger and Chrysamere to be held by IW NPC's but to be the legacy version able to be displayed. Also adds displays in the main armory for all the material type weapons."
  10. I also am not a fan of how some of the weapons look, however the weapons in that mod do get displayed for the museum so it is an necessary evil lol. If I wmay what do you mean buggy? Also there is a fix for IW that a modder did to improve the appearance of some weapons, check it out!
  11. When we rebuild a merge do we have to delete the files from the old merge before doing a new one or does the tool simply replace the whole folder with the new merge?

  14. I concur with the MIL settings and disabling the ingredients is not a bad idea either since most of them are just using the salt pile meshes.
  15. Looking at the Diverse Dragons page there is now a patch for DD "there is now a patch that allows DD's stat boosts to apply my dragons (only the stat boosts though). Testing seems to indicate that DCO's changes all apply to my dragons automatically." are you using that patch too if so did you crank up the DD settings??

  17. If I wanted to remover Mature Skin in place of Pride of Valhalla how would I go about do this? The CR has MS as a master.
  18. Yeah you get the relic hunter armor plus starting by the boat now yields a new questline to the LAL hunter start in the new version of LoTD
  19. Awe dang why in the world would a modder remove that from their all in one fomod...thats just incredibly annoying imo.
  20. Thats not true Ruffled Feather mod was just relocated to a different mod page, I will pull up the page one the maintenance is over.
  21. Looking at the guide I noticed that Moon and Star also has a patch for Water plants in the downloads that we should get too.
  22. I think you have the wrong heavy armory patch listed since we are using both IW and IA we need to have DBM_HeavyArmory+IWIA_Patch.esp which also requires DBM_IWIA_Patch.esp. Edit: MY bad we are not using Immersive Weapons, I thought we were (We should us IW though as LoTD takes several of the weapons off of the lvl list and places them as unique artifacts to discover).
  23. I will not play Skyrim again personally without More interesting loot, it just adds so much variety too chests around Skyrim. Not to mention it contains a lot of items that get displayed in the museum.
  24. Actually Unique Uniques is not needed as Legacy already assigns many of the unique weapons an actual unique appearance. Just need to do some CR for the correct models are used.
  25. So recently I dont know what I did but no my MO is creating these backup files that I dont want to be made and I really dont how the setting for them got turned on. I am not sure how these settings got triggered and nor can I find where in the setting these exists. Does anyone know about this, help lol?
