Thanks man. What do you mean by "Clean Save" ?
-
Guys, I would like to know something : do you guys actually play with your load order ? Do you update it as you go on or just let it the way it is and update when you restart your game ? I would like to go on with my life and start playing the damn game (600H logged and never got past the blades) and still update my mods, but I'm scared to break something (even if you do it right, for instance, for vigor : deactivating the mod, then installing it, then reactivating it again). What are the risks ? What are you guys doing for your playtroughs ? Thank you :)

I've finally fixed the Vigor bug by reinstalling it... As before, I learned that you really need to DELETE and REINSTALL a mod instead of MERGING it when updating. Anyway, I played with your recommends settings and it worked well. I like how combat feels. It's hard (I'm playing at 1.00 / 1.50 difficulty settings in Wildcat) but not undoable. Anyway, I've got a question. I crashed last night while crafting some ****, after a 3H session, where I reloaded a save a dozen times - after dying. Is it "normal" to crash when playing long sessions (interluded with reloads after death) or should I be concerned ? Thanks :)

Yes, I finally reinstalled frostfall - I'll know next time that I have to delete instead of merging mods when upgrading. Anyway... I've restarted another character. Spent a good hour configuring all MCMs menus and I have an annoying bug, and, for the life of me, I have no clue on how to troubleshoot this. Basically my health can't never be full. I'll take a small amount of damage when getting out of the first location I'm transpoted from, and from there, my health can't be full. If I have 85 health, it will be stuck at 84.94023 or something like that. It is not a gamebreaking bug, however, I can't hide the health bar with immersive hud if it's not full, and I have no clue on how to fix this stupid thing. Even if I take damage, I can't never be full life, so my stupid bar hangs there, for no reason. Any idea on how I can tackle this problem ? I'm really lost. I've tried to disable the Vigor health regen disabled option, but nothing worked... Any help would be appreciated :(

Hm, guys, ever since I updated the SRLE guide, my Frostfall meters won't show up, even in a new game with my overwrite folder cleaned... Any idea how I could troubleshoot this ?

Great :) Thank you guys :)

I have a question : should we add "MLU - Lore Weapon Expansion.esp" to the MLU merge ? You didn't specifiy it in the merge section.
-
Thanks guys, redoing the CACO Patches made it work. I was trying to do the Dreadflopp Modular Patch before...
-
Yes I did, and I followed the last discussion about it. I think the "corrupted" CACO_Immersive_Creatures_Patch_lvl_list.esp is in this dreadflopps modular patches version.
-
Darth_Mathias, when I'm trying to build the Merge plugin for Dreadflopps, the Merge Plugin Standalone program reports that "CACO_Immersive_Creatures_Patch_lvl_list.esp" has errors. Should I ignore it ? That's the error : " Unhandled error: LVLI \ Leveled List Entries \ Leveled List Entry \ LVLO - Base Data \ Reference -> Found a COBJ reference, expected: ALCH,AMMO,APPA,ARMO,BOOK,INGR,KEYM,LIGH,LVLI,MISC,SCRL,SLGM,WEAP Unhandled error: LVLI \ Leveled List Entries \ Leveled List Entry \ LVLO - Base Data \ Reference -> Found a MGEF reference, expected: ALCH,AMMO,APPA,ARMO,BOOK,INGR,KEYM,LIGH,LVLI,MISC,SCRL,SLGM,WEAP Unhandled error: LVLI \ Leveled List Entries \ Leveled List Entry \ LVLO - Base Data \ Reference -> Found a MGEF reference, expected: ALCH,AMMO,APPA,ARMO,BOOK,INGR,KEYM,LIGH,LVLI,MISC,SCRL,SLGM,WEAP"

Neo, what do you think about the Grass on Steroids plugin from SFO ? The performance gain is pretty noticeable (I'd say +10% fps average compared to standard SFO), and I can't really notice any difference, apart from the fact that plants seem to be placed differently. -
Darth_Mathias, I have a question. What would we need to do in order to install additional weapons ? I would really like to install the Lore Weapon Expansion mod (which, in my opinion, qualifies for our load order : it's clean, lore friendly, and high quality overall) : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44179/? I suppose I need to find patches with : CACO, Weapon and Armor Attributes, DSR and MLU ? Or did I forget anything ?

About new weapons, what do you guys think about Lore Weapon Expansion https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44179/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D44179&pUp=1 ? It got updated this month and it looks very high quality. -
Thanks for your answer Kneph. I can't check this out now, as I'm at work, but I think I remember it came from WaAA.

Have you seen this ? : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36006/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D36006%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D992803&pUp=1 Ultimate Combat has gotten an update from tktk (the marvelous creator of TK Dodge) and, apparently, it's amazing : humanoids actually dodge too ! Any chance we'll include this in the guide ? :P -
I have a question : is it bad if I have multiple of the same active effects displayed in my "magic" tab ? Any idea on how to fix this ? :/

Neovalen, have you considered trying Verdant for SR:LE ? It is, in my opinion, a massive gap in visual quality when comparing it to SFO. -
I'd keep Vigor solely for the fatigue system and the movements tweaks : I find that not being able to turn during attacks and commit to them is really really nice from a gameplay standpoint. Plus, if you're using TK Dodge, it makes sense to have ennemies no follow you midswing.
-
So, essentially, what did you keep from Vigor Darth_Mathias ?

I would also like to know, opinions on the nexus section the mod seems to be diverse. We need a specialist ! -
So, in respond of my own topic earlier regarding grass, I've tried a few things (namely Verdant + SFO and Grass on Steroids + SFO). Here are my toughts and performances (those were conducted in front of Whiterun, with 100% GPU usage so CPU isn't bottlenecking), with iMinGrassSize=70 : SFO + Grass on Steroids (GoS) - AO (Ambient Occlusion) : 67 FPS SFO + GoS + AO : 63 FPS SFO + Verdant - AO : 61 FPS SFO + Verdant + AO : 53 FPS My thoughts : holy **** Verdant + AO + iMinGrassSize=70 looks STUNNING. Those 2K fowers and grass are amazing. The performance hit is really big though. GoS really doesn't look that good regarding individual grass textures, but the performance is stunning. I might chose this option in the future, or remove Ambient Occlusion and keep verdant (however I find that AO is really a must have with ENB, it really adds, in my opinion, a nice touch). Also may I encourage you guys to check out this optimization guide : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74427/? I followed the guide and I have now almost 0 stutter, it's almost magical. Just be wary of keeping fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=2000 in your skyrim.ini (author recommends a value of 500 to 800) : I had weird bugs when setting it to the recommend settings (massive stutters and script lag after loading a save) .

Does Wildcat have the movements tweaks from Vigor (no turning when attacking) ?
