  1. I was hoping if anyone knew if things like dragon combat overhaul and skyre should be excluded from asis patching.
  2. Active Mod Files: As you can see I have trimmed allot of mods. On a new game I have frozen twice outside of riften...wtf. I have managed to have a bunch of outside battles, finished some quests etc. But randomly this buggy trashware decides to start freezing outside of Riften..WHY?!!?!?!!! Also Automatic variants has decided to go on the fritz, foxes and dogs are purple. Now I have reinstalled AV and all its texture packs, run sum about 3 times. Still purple dogs and foxes. I don't know anymore, maybe I'll try to get rid of wet and cold next but the reason AV has gone haywire or why it demands to STAY haywire are beyond me.
  3. Guess it's asis on the chopping block next, too bad...I thought it was a fun enemy AI and difficulty mod. Thats really why I modded Skyrim, I wanted to have big battles and team adventures in a graphical super world. Lol... Anyway's Skyre is incredible and technically I guess its all you really need. You two are allot of help, I feel like I should send you a care package lol.
  4. I have nixed Skyrim script fix and managed to play today outside for an hour+, ofcourse I know I need to do allot more testing to see if that was the bad seed. Â Thank you for the direction provided Very hesitant to get rid of asis, dragon combat and immersive patrols though...if anyone has more input pls write.
  5. Started a new game, played for about an hour until I got an in combat ctd fighting bandits in the woods. Yes I realize I have allot of esps but most of them are patches and multi-esp mods. Take your time man, I'm in no rush.
  6. Heres my mod list as is. I've managed to get Skyre script fix to work by putting directly behind Skyre Main. Other than that I have removed encounter zones. Game is still broken but I have not started a new game yet. Active Mod Files:
  7. Anyone have any experience with Skyre Script Fix? Also when I reference my papyrus logs before crashes it seems like Moonlight tales is always the last one being processed. Does this mean its a problem?
  8. Hey man, lol starting to think I'll never actually get to play through a game. Ill start a new one and see if things are ok. Maybe I'll wait until my 780 comes in.
  9. -Converted my custom inis to neovalen step inis (performance actually seems allot smoother outside) -Got rid of asis encounter zones -now Im ctding (not sure if its because of ini change or getting rid of encounter zones)
  10. Very good feedback; what I will look most into is encounter zones and skytest. Â I really think your on to something with that one. Â Honestly most of the mods I have on my list are jsut due to following neovalens suggestions with his list. Â But the conflicting spawn points, the feeling I get from my freezes in game...that may just be it. Â I will start researching a safe way to remove encounter zones without breaking my save.
  11. My Papyrus log (had to erase a very large portion for it to fit in message):
  12. Well I've come along way modding Skyrim but this issue has been the omnipresent base of the pyramid.  External freezes no matter what, it's just a matter of time; who knows how many sources are contributing to this or if it's even fully curable with a modded Skyrim.  The weird thing is I have hardly changed my load order at all since creating my last new game, yet the freezes outside started happening a few solid days of playing (albeit I was forced to change nvidia settings, enb settings, ini settings to increase my performance on the way.  This is probably the last thread I'll be making. Lets share ideas on stability in the wilds, papyrus settings, efficacy of hardware in regards to a modded Skyrim etc.  Issue I am currently facing: Performance is very jumpy and I get repeated freezes outside of cities and dungeons.  I don't get any ctd's at all, just freezes, exclusively outdoors in the wilds.  These freezes happen when I come into view of a number of enemies (big wolf packs or when engaging a dragon etc), When fighting in general (I'm not sure if there's a correlation between magic use or not), or when simply travelling (I have a suspicion convenient horses contributes to the instability).  I am noticing that my Papyrus sais VM freezing when I check my crashes; this must mean it's script related...right?  I don't really understand papyrus logs and I'm hoping to get some help interpreting. Issues I have solved: -poor performance in dungeons -poor performance in cities -numerous ctd's on start ups -invisible creatures -ctd on magic -ctd on load screen -infinite load screen -inconsistencies between skyre/immersive weapons and armours -numerous mods not working -random ctd's -issues with ddsopt -Ram related ctd's -missing textures for creatures -random missing textures through out world -invisible creatures Advice I can offer: -Don't assume lowering settings will increase your performance (I see no significant performance difference between using Realvision performance enb vs Realvision full enb). -The script curing tweak does help but its not bullet proof -I have a feeling heavily editing your ini can break your saves (I tried using ini settings downloaded from nexus and I could no longer continue my save) -Optimizing the textures for wet and cold, burn freeze shock, deadly impacts etc. helps with ctds and freezes -Leave water textures alone with Ddsopt -Really do research to find the best optimization settings for the textures from certain mods -Ddsopt makes a world of difference, don't settle for any of the less advanced texture editors on nexus, reference this and the other step site on its proper usage -Pretty sure any type of overclock contributes to freezes -While I am currently using ini settings that supposedly utilize more of my cpu cores, I cant say I've seen a performance difference in game or any indication of it working on monitors -I get zero benefit from running in windowed mode, try running windowed and full screen and see what works best for you Ideas I have to fix my problem: -They were two mods from Step Neovalen that had the option to use either an esp or esm version of the mod.  I know one was Immersive creatures, cannot remember the other one.  I selected esp version for both, maybe if I changed to esm it would fix my external freezes? (also could this be done safely without ruining my save?)] -There is a Skyre script fix that I tried before, all it did was break my game.  Maybe I put it in the wrong load order?  If anyone knows how to properly implement this when using Skyre reproccer and other combat mods please let me know -Remove mods like Skytest, Automatic variants, Wet and Cold, Realistic needs and diseases, climates of tamriel, immersive creatures, dragon combat overhaul etc (LAST RESORT!). -Yet do more &(*&^ing ini editing/testing (LAST RESORT!) -Leave avast off -Set steam to offline mode -Using EVGA step up program to upgrade my 680 to a 780 (I have noticed when using any enb my gpu usage is essentially stuck at 99% load...maybe with a stronger card the Skyrim engine would be more at ease or something?  I know that's a stretch but hopefully it helps. All my relevant Info: ENB Info: I am not using ENBoost because as far as I can tell its already included in my ENB 0.197 Realvision Full package. I have set desired FPS to 60 and turned enb AF off. Nvidia Driver tweaks: Negative lod set to clamp, Correct AA gamma set to off, AF set to 16, AA set to let application handle, Triple buffering set to on. Active Mod Files: Dxdiag: Skyrim.ini Skyrimprefs.ini:
  13. Redownloading all the texture packs and rerunning sum worked, thx Aiyen.
  14. What is the object distance detail fade option in the INI?
  15. Shadows? Is that the reason...shadows? Stupid shadows cut my fps in half and ruin everything when u start modding?? I have half a mind to just turn them off, run outside and have a super ultimate hardcore smooth dragon boot %*#@ing party.
  16. Helpful as always aiyen. A little confused on how to rebuild av unfortunately. Just delete a d reinstall all the texture packs?
  17. I tried implementing a Skyre script fix as suggested earlier. Â It broke my game and I removed it. Â Now I've noticed I've lost the textures for pretty much all wild life. Â Missing textures I've noticed. -Hargraves -Trolls -Cows -Chickens -Wolves What should I do? Â Someone help. Â Other than that I'm still experiencing semi frequent freezes outside. Â I have a suspicion its due to EVGA precision and a fairly mild overclock I have on my gpu. Â Does overclocking crash Skyrim? Â lastly I would like to encourage a discussion about performance. Â Inside I get a perfect 60 fps. Â In cities I get high 40s and 50's which drop harshly to the 20's while facing or walking in certain directions; same thing outside in the wilderness but the drops seem to be more frequent outside rather than in cities. Thanks Active Mod Files:
  18. Figured it out guys; thanks for the responses.
  19. Is it enb 1.68 that's completely blocking hialgo functionality? I suppose I could test that theory by testing different enbs.
  20. Hey guys.  I'm having trouble getting Hialgoboost to work.  My Skyrim game just doesn't seem to sense it.  As far as I'm concerned I have followed all the instructions to the letter.  I have searched the internet, I have read the forums, I've tried contacting the Hialgo author (has blocked the ability to PM him); I am out options.  If anyone has experience troubleshooting Hialgo please assist.  I will try to attach all relevant info. My skyrim folder: see attached document.  I could not figure out a better way to post the folder contents; also the #$%*ing memory limitation prevented me from presenting it in it's entirety. Ini changes demanded by Hialgo instructions: Enbseries.ini-[PROXY] EnableProxyLibrary=true InitProxyFunctions=true ProxyLibrary=d3d9_hialgo.dll Hialgoboost.ini-[PROXY] EnableProxy_xinput = false             ; Set true for x360 controller emulator. ProxyLibrary_xinput = xinput1_3_other.dll EnableProxy_dinput8 = false            ; Can be used to load ScriptDragon etc. ProxyLibrary_dinput8 = dinput8_other.dll EnableProxy_d3d9    = true             ; Can be used to load Standalone SMAA, SFX, FXAA post-process injector etc.                                         ; DO NOT USE this to load ENB!! Use enbseries.ini to load d3d9_hialgo.dll                                         ; instead ProxyLibrary_d3d9   = d3d9_other.dll Am I missing something?  Tesv folder.doc
  21. Sorry for the late reply. Â I am using these ini settings. Â https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36146/? . Â Two things worth noting:-I've added/changed all relevant sections from Neovalen Step ini section -Inumhwthreads number corresponds to your cpu in use. Â Since I have an 8 core AMD 8350 I used Inumhwthreads=8.
  22. Skyre script fix? Â Anyways guys. Â I just started a new game. Â Played from imperial army alternate life start, all the way up to the grey beards. Â Lots of travel outside, lots changing cells, big battles indoors and outdoors, lots of animal attacks, lots of magic; not 1 freeze, ctd or infinite loading screen. Â I have optimized the living crap out of my textures too; ram usage is in very stable limits. As always things aren't perfect. Â Indoors I get a perfect 50-60 fps, in cities I get an imperfect but livable (I guess) fps of 30-60. Â Outdoors is bad, unplayable in my mind, stutter and slow down city at 20-60. Â There is no performance difference whatsoever in using realvision performance or full; doesn't make sense; my systems allot better than this. Â The performance behavior is erratic...I can be in an area in a city or outdoors, pan my camera to 1 side and get a perfect 60 fps, turn over to the other side and go all the way down to 22 or something. Â The thought of editing my mod list or ini settings kind of makes me nauseous; but whats the point of playing if I have to run from dungeon to dungeon for a great game experience? I do not see 1 visual glitch, my game is stable, all mods are finally operating; but as always Skyrim doesn't want to play nice. Â I am thinking of starting a performance thread; where we can all share ideas and suggestions...hopefully solve some issues. Â Im using some really interesting Ini settings suggestion by Skyrimtuner than I would like to share.
  23. I played for a solid 2 hours just now. Â It froze this time when I swung on a skeletal warlord. Â It really seems like its TK Hitstop...the weird thing is I cant seem to find any stories about issues caused by this mod. Â Would love to hear from anyone with experience. Â Cheers.
