  1. Ok great. I had the same question about Safety Load. It was doing that so I removed it. I want to add it back in though. For some reason, Safety Load actually fixed the game for me before the Memory Patch 3.0 came out. I was combining them before and getting no freezes/ILS/CTDs AT ALL. Now with only the memory patch 3.0, I'm still getting problems.Â
  2. If I do that, it'll automatically write to that 'mod'? I'm assuming it HAS to be called 'SKSE logs'? Or if I create a mod from the log, it'll just know to write to that instead of the overwrite section, regardless of what I name the mod?
  3. Great find. Be sure to post more of his work if you find any :)
  4. Is this normal? If it is, it's not mentioned in the STEP guide.
  5. The mod that the SKSE report pertains to is the SKSE-Elys-AltF4 mod under fixes. This happens whenever Skyrim is closed. Is this normal? Can I just delete it each time? The file says: Plugin name: SKSE_Elys_AltF4 Plugin version: 1.0.0.0 Plugin path: C:\Games\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\ SKSE version: 1.7.0.0 Game version: 1.9.32.0 Plugin enabled. 6. This should be moved to a different area.
  7. Just an update on the floating grass issue in the boneyard. I found the problem. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/459497-vurts-skyrim-flora-overhaul/page-643 FYI: Turns out it's a bug from ELFX - Dawnguard. Anyone else wanna try it and confirm? I can scratch that one off my list of problems. I'll make the changes to ENBlocal.ini that you have all suggested when I am home from work tomorrow. Tonight I will be staying at my friend's place. Thanks for everyone's help. If it starts to work, I owe each and every single one of you a beer, especially torminator and essarrbee ;-). You guys have been a HUGE help.
  8. I think I had tried that once but it gave me problems. Better to just be on the safe side and keep it at 1 GB. The Page File wouldn't have anything to do with my problem, right? It's most likely that I need to fix the ENBlocal.ini [Memory] settings by reducing the reservedmemory and putting the videomb to auto-detect? We discovered that that was the problem causing Skyrim to run out of memory, right?
  9. Yes, please merge them. I was JUST going to refer everyone to that thread. I originally made two threads. One for the boneyard floating grass issue and one for the memory issue. They became one in the same. No. I am using 64-bit.Â
  10. I can't even get into the soul cairn boneyard with coc commands. I think that is a separate issue from the memory problem as the floating grass in ONLY happening in that one cell. I haven't messed with anything related to how much RAM windows gets. The ONLY thing I did was reduce the page file on the SSD from 8 gb (i think thats default) to 1gb. Alrighty. I'll do that and then get back to you. Thanks for all the help. Would the fact that I reduced the page file on my SSD from 8 gb (default) to 1 gb have anything to do with this? probably not, right?Â
  11. Load Order: I'm using the highest res available for each mod. Also, ENBlocal.ini (comes with Prod80's serenity ENB)
  12. It says the formula is vram + system ram - 2048 for videomb size. In my Case, that would be 4gb of vram + 8 gb of system ram - 2048. Ive always used this value and had no problems. Same with the 512 for the other value. These are the default enblocal values that come with serebity enb. I will try changing them though! I think those notes are left over from kountervibe enb. Prod80 never removed them when he borrowed much of kountervibes values Also, the STEP ENB wiki says to leave reservedmemory size at 512 for 2+ vram cards, does it not? Why are you saying 64? EDIT: BEFORE I UPDATED TO THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF STEP, I was also using Safety Load v 1.1 (which worked for some, but not others). It seemed to work miracles for me. maybe since I don't use it now, the game is finally messing up due to my incorrect enboost settings?Â
  13. Just an FYI, I have 8 gb of system RAM and I reduced the page file on my SSD (which has Skyrim) to 1024mb. Am I actually running out of 8 gb of RAM from Skyrim and the page file isnt' big enough?
  14. In case it helps: enblocal.ini
  15. How do I get in that boneyard? It needs a boneyard key and is part of a main dawmguard triggered quest. Its where you7 fight the dragon
  16. Ok. I'll check out that area with a fresh coc and thrn coc to other areas of the map to see if I can reproduce the memory leak.
  17. I'll try doing a fresh coc from the skyrim menu. I just coc from the main menu, right?
  18. I can try but idk why it would be that. That file ran flawlessly with ugrids 7 with step 2.2.7. Also, what would be causing that floating grass in the boneyard? Nah, not ugrids. 5 srill didn't work.
  19. Just an update. I loaded a vanilla profile with Serenity ENB and SKSE 1.7 (with memory tweaks). It worked fine with coc commands. I THEN loaded up my usual save (yes the scary one with my full modded list) and it loaded perfectly(so clearly SKSE and Memory Patch) are working, otherwise this save wouldn't even load, let alone let me fast travel around the map for 20 minutes. It's definitely not SKSE then..... Current MODDED Load Order (the one that is giving me issues) skyrim.ini skyrimprefs.ini
  20. What is the best and quickest way to stress test the game without needing to load a save that has a ton of locations open for fast travel?
  21. Not sure if this is relevant, but I used steam mover to move Skyrim to my SSD right after it finished downloading through Steam. I am seriously at a loss. I never had this problem when installing SKSE manually and using WB. This must be something specific to MO not using SKSE correctly. I also tried running it with the correct AOS-COT patch. It didn't fix the problem.
  22. Ok let me try that and I'll get back to all of you. Thanks for the suggestions. EDIT: Nope, still getting the windows memory error and that area of the soul cairn still looks screwed up. I have no idea what to do..
  23. Seems to be doing it even with the older 1.6.16 SKSE. I'm at a loss. I'm very close to just abandoning the entire modding project for good....
  24. ELE - Interior Lighting and ELFX ARE compatible, just not if you use the ELFX Enhancer. It says so on the enbdev page that you get ELE from. What are the Skyproc Patches? Just the Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp? I can put that after Bashed Patch, 0 although I do not think that's the problem. I have a 64-bit version of Windows. I'm also using ENB Binary 245, which is NOt the latest one. Should I just switch back to SKSE 1.6.16 and SSME? I'll see if that works.Â
