  1. Thanks, thats all I wanted to hear.
  2. Should this be merged in the bashed patch? Should the trap fixes esp be active at the end?
  3. Sheson got my problem fixed. Check my thread or the thread EssArrBee linked for the solution.
  4. Yeah, but MO is supposed to catch the change of the esm and put it in "overwrite" so I can create a "mod" of that.
  5. But I have a SSD and am having the issue, that MO does not register the change of the update.esm.
  6. So, because of my SSD it is too fast to pick it up?
  7. Ok thanks, I did this for all the DLCs too. Now I just have to fix my other error and I can have a go at actually playing with STEP.
  8. I made a video so you guys can see what is happening for me. Maybe this will help.
  9. As you can see in TES5Edit_log, my entire list is loaded and here is my new TES5Edit_bugreport . *edit* Thanks to sheson, who linked me here. This is now solved. For whoever reads this trying to fix the error. The TexGen script takes a while and TES5Edit will say "not responding" while its working.
  10. Could someone please check out my error I am having with TES5Edit and DynDOLOD TexGen? Thank you
  11. yeah I just put the cleaned files into the Data folder, but this does not let me put the "Cleaned ESM" in the loadorder of MO after the uncleaned version.
  12. I am having the exact same problem when running DynDOLOD TexGen. I made a topic in the xEdit section.
  13. So my TES5Edit 3.1.1 is crashing when running DynDOLOD TexGen. Bugreport: here Modlist: here SystemSpecs: here
  14. Ok, thanks. I hope we can figure out what is causing the problem.
  15. ok, I will just go on with the other STEPS. I can do the cleaning later right?
  16. This is happening with absolutely no mods installed. I deleted the skyrim directory and redownloaded it to make sure everything is clean. p.s. why can't I attach any files? *edit* Does this help? INFO (18:44:43.0338): deleting D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\Update.esm -> D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\Update.esm DEBUG (18:44:43.0338): add mod file G:\Downloads\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\overwrite\TES5Edit Backups\Update.esm.backup.2015_06_28_18_44_43 (TES5Edit Backups\Update.esm.backup.2015_06_28_18_44_43) DEBUG (18:44:43.0338): using path from previous deletion: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\Update.esm DEBUG (18:44:43.0339): remove mod file D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Update.esm.save.2015_06_28_18_44_42 ERROR (18:44:43.0339): not a mod directory: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\Update.esm DEBUG (18:44:43.0356): move (ex) D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Update.esm.save.2015_06_28_18_44_42 to D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Update.esm - 1 (203) DEBUG (18:44:43.0384): hooks removed ----------- LOG END ----------- *edit2* I think that section of the STEP guide is outdated. I checked https://wiki.step-project.com/TES5Edit/TES5Edit_Cleaning_Instructions and this describes the behaviour I am experiencing.
  17. I just have it unpacked. G:\Downloads\Skyrim\ModOrganizer Skyrim is also installed in a folder with write privileges. (D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\)
  18. Here like this? That is what I did. MO is not registering any update.esm in the overwrite list.
  19. I am following "2.B. Clean the Update ESM" in the STEP guide v.2.2.9.1 and in step 11. the overwrite should turn red and the update.esm should appear in the overwrite list. This is not the case. The only thing in the grey overwrite is the "TES5Edit Backups" folder. I am using MO v.1.3.8 and TES5Edit v.3.1.1. What could I be doing wrong?
