A way to store MCM config - "important/complex" mods already provide the way to do this either via json or fiss. Whats the problem with uninstalling SFO?
-
Might want to sort masters as well and manually verify 3dnpc is no longer on the master list
-
Its not needed in my LO since records are identical to previous esp (caco patches) but you might have something in between modifying them in which case you need it

You need to buy it i think Get one in armor section, one in misc is just a decor -
I accidentally installed everything without extracting BSAs
sm0kem replied to ImAnIdiot's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
Manually extracting will work but i doubt you will save much time and if something goes wrong you will never get over the feeling that you screwed something up. I would just reinstall from scratch its not that much work once you have everything downloaded -
Glad to help :)

Select cr patch you want to clean, right click, apply script, select report masters, in popup window chose esp you want to remove, click apply. This should show you all form ids that are still linked to esp in question

Btw, happy to report that my current setup (srlee, mlu, few LL mods, minus mods i mentioned few pages back) is surprisingly stable - i cant get it to crash no matter what i throw at it (i also have ugrids 7). I actually get to play the game now :). String count is fluctuating around 53K

Correct

Thats weird, i removed bunch of dependencies from both neos and darths patches without any issues. Not sure what is causing your CTDs but i would say give it a try again. EBT is actually easiest one to disconnect

Dont you guys find having both Duel and Vigor an overkill? What does Duel offer thats not covered by Vigor (and CE)?

Starting a new game (without LAL): waggon physics going crazy
sm0kem replied to Cyangor's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
The general rule of thumb is to get through heavily staged and scripted vanilla start before installing game changing mods (textures, meshes, etc are fine), make a save when you exit the cave, and then install all your mods. LAL lighting is a known issue that can be ignored (you will never see that cell again) or make a save in it and reload -
Looks good but chances are it'll be incompatible with number of mods (immersive citizens and arthmoor villages come to mind). Just look at number of patches for ETAC - sometimes i get a feeling it needs more patches then number of mods i have

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
sm0kem replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Thanks for clarifying guys, even though i was able to blindly use the tool before, having an idea of how it works under the covers helps understanding potential issues. I was a big fan of FO 1 and 2 however was never able to really dig FO 3 and above so all this is new to me -

Have you considered Bring Your Silver mod by the author of Vigor and Weapon attributes?

SKYRIMLE Vivid Weathers - a complete Weather and Visual overhaul
sm0kem replied to Mangaclub's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I am running performance version and fog does eat few fps, which is expected. I didnt notice jumps you describe but i wasnt looking for this either, will keep an eye on it. Overall fog need some more work to improve quality (unless there is some ini tweak i am not aware of) since it tends to pop in and out quiet alot -

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
sm0kem replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hey sheson, what are the consequences of manually mod removing references in tes5 and cleaning masters? (Besides the giving up the firstborn). Is it an acceptable way to remove minor dependency (holidays in this example) or do i need to rebuild every time. Thanks -
Happy Easter! Enjoy family time its a lot more important than games

FYI - Vigor and Ordinator got updated yesterday

Thanks. One more question - how critical is it to follow your LOOT rules for MLU and patches, will it be a problem if i place both right before Scarcity (i.e. use global priority instead of Load After rules). Or are there any specific mods that have to be loaded after MLU?
